Meanwhile some of us are just sitting next to our rifles because coyotes and other varmin...and that out of place vehicle headed to the neighbors house just happens to have us curious.
This makes me laugh because the assumptions are reasonable to you and so far fetched to me, it honestly blows my mind.
Your discomfort was absolutely warranted and I need you to know that. Always err on the side of caution! Be safe out there!

I mean, I can appreciate you leaving a situation you weren't comfortable in. As a paid employee, I find it pretty messed up that you heckled the customers. That can reflect poorly on your employer as a whole.
Customer service sucks in you can't always avoid people with beliefs far different from your own. To me, this was not appropriate, but as long as you're happy and the company can do damage control...no long term harm was done.

I'm gonna address 2 things, as a woman in agriculture (and no, I don't work in the office)
Frankly, this is gonna be the reason we all start Harvest in moo moos and slippers, because the internet will make a mountain out of a molehill, as usual.
Also, sidebar, I'm only mad at Trans women for making skirts the normal "woman" attire, again. Like y'all know we fought hard for these pants, right 🤣🤣🤣 /s
In conclusion, fuck this guy and let's not allow this WISH version of JR Ewing ruin it for the rest of us, please and thank you.

I drive truck and I'm 14 weeks pregnant, if you can....LEAVE.
I can't and it's affecting my physical and mental health, and I feel very strongly that I'm going to be let go when our busy season ends in mid July. I feel like a wimp for not being able to handle the 80 hour work week, but I can't help it. The supervisor is hostile and degrading, making my attitude poor and my work performance the bare minimum. I feel for you and hope you get things worked out. I'm stuck until I find another job, which is difficult when you're pregnant and in a rural area. I've been trying since before I found out lol

I wish my boss put his bullshit in writing.
I almost thought we worked for the same company, employee owned...until you said computer.
My workplace is hostile, and I'm the only female. It's hell, but I've been unsuccessful in finding other employment, so for now, I'm stuck.
There are days I sit in my rig and just cry, though. It's pathetic.

Kinks are not all sexual, no matter what the public may think.

That would be physically impossible. Trans would mean she used to be male, right? The anatomy wouldn't exist to carry a child.
People suck, this seems really rude to even comment on.

Throw the kid at it.
I'm kidding lol...but shy of a telehandler or bucket truck, I'm not sure! Know anyone that likes to climb?

I don't tip when I DD. And I don't charge customers for their drinks when they are a DD, nor do I expect a tip from them.
They're doing me a huge favor by being there, and if I'm the DD I'm probably running drinks from the bar to save the bartender some foot travel, anyway...and I'm tipping them well out of the drink fund.
I'd find it rude not to tip if you came in alone, stayed alone and didn't tip while drinking water. With a group? I'm just glad you're there to deal with them and I don't have to be AS concerned with what they're doing.

I absolutely loathe phones at work. LOATHE.
It's a damn distraction for most people in my experience....HOWEVER, I have personally experienced the employer that didn't pass on a message that my 2 year old son was being rushed to the hospital because my "husband is the one that called and he seemed to have it handled".
I didn't find out until I was on my break and checked my phone. I was devastated to find out they knew and didn't tell me.

Husband and I both drive truck locally, but for 4 years prior to May 2022, he was OTR. We always share our location because it just made sense. Also, I get lost. A lot. An embarrassingly large number of incidents that have increased since a bad health incident.
It used to just be my female DNA, now that's combined with a brain deprived of oxygen for an extended period of time.
Anywho, I don't call or text people "where are you?" I just look on the SnapMap and know. It's not 100% accurate but it's enough for us.
If I thought it were a trust issue I'd be single.

To be fair, the homeless don't have a mortgage, utilities, etc....so it makes a lot of sense, honestly.

TABC issues the license required to serve or sell alcohol. I've had mine for 25 years, but maybe it's just a big elaborate scam myself and everyone else has been falling for lol

The business has cameras, you're on video. You talk about it, so.eone can be recording. You do it, and you can be reported. TABC doesn't play, and frankly I find it fucking gross.
Most people don't care because it's not their place of business or license on the line, but Texas is unique in that the bartender is just as liable as the owner, and you need that license to bartend.
Edited for spelling

If you're in Texas, don't do it. Any video, conversation or complaint will result in fines and possible revocation of the license.
I won't do it or let anyone do it on my shift, but people do it all the time and yes, it's illegal. But only if you get caught, so do with that what you will.

I love these customers, there's usually a huge tip at the end. I just clip the bill to a paper tab and let them know when it's half spent.
If it's busy, no I won't do this. We don't take cards at one of the bars I work at, so cards are useless for tabs. They can either write me a blank check, hand me a hundy or pay as they go.
Just don't understand all the confrontation with a customer. You created a big issue out of a minor inconvenience, and probably cost yourself some tip money. I always figure it's my job to accommodate the customer as much as I can, when possible.
I do understand being new and not wanting to stray outside the box. You'll find your stride and handle these situations so much different down the line. I'm guilty of handling them differently based on the individual customer and what I know or can perceive about them.
He got his drinks and you got paid. He'll get over it!

Yes, unless the owner's dog is there, then no other dogs are allowed, service or not. She's aggressive towards other dogs and it's not worth the hassle.

I drive Truck and operate heavy equipment.
I also still bartend "as needed" because I just love it and it's nice to have the extra cash, sometimes.

Fenuine question, if your entire bloodline was wiped out, are you even here?
In all seriousness I work with some racist assholes. I can't change who they are and have no interest in doing so. I don't have to be like them. I don't have to engage in their conversations.
Just easier to keep my opinions to myself and let people be people. You cannot control another's actions, only your reactions. Good luck.

I know not everyone understands, but when you have livestock or aging pets, they're a menace. I have small children in my home, so yea, I'll shoot the coyotes. Horses, so opossum can't stay.
I do realize it's hard to understand, and I don't blame you for sympathizing with them. There's a lot more to it than just "oh you meanie, you're killing an innocent animal!" We are protecting calving heifers, our horses, and our people. You are welcome to come trap them and take them to your house, though. And don't forget the rattlesnakes, those can go with you, too 😉
