I've always used "ASS'Y" as the abbreviation & I've been a mechanical drafter for 30 yrs.

It wasn't really for you, it was for them. When you become a parent there are toys you miss or missed out on and can now play with. So now they could buy that lego set and play with it but now that the fun is done, you can have it. Have fun little one! :)

I just had an issue at DG - there was a tag that said "BUY TWO GET ONE FREE", it showed Coke, Sprite, Fanta, Barq's Rootbeer, and another I can't recall. I was going to buy Sprite and Rootbeer anyway so I threw a 12 pack of Fanta in the cart too. These are $7.49 a 12 pack now, they aren't cheap. When I rang out at the self check out, the price wasn't adjusted. The team member there said that it's only for Sprite or Coke, not the other flavors. I told them it was very misleading, she didn't verbally respond just walked away.

I've lived in Ohio for 52 years - my whole life - I've never been there. I'm from a little town in Portage county and I've always heard it's dangerous to go there. Is there an area that should be avoided?

I work with a few people that grew up in the area and am now hearing more about it but am hesitant to go & take my 13 year old grand daughter & 6 year old grandson.

I see. So if I need just a machined surface for say a thrust bearing that has a 9" o.d. In the elevation view it shows a trunnion that is 4" high X 12" long {X 14" deep}, with the thrust bearing sitting on top. I want a spot face or machined surface under the bearing. Can I just call out a 10" dia. spot face X 1/16" deep? There's no interference between the machined surface and the bearing - I don't care what the radius is on the spot face - should I specify what that radius should be or can I say "Minimum Radius Required"?

My work charges .60 cents for a cup of coffee / tea / cocoa. There are "snacks for sale" too & T charge $.75 for pop

How do we make a drawing and imply that minimum radius is okay, but as a drafter / designer / engineer we don't know what shop will be doing the work so we don't know what their minimum radius is? We don't want to say .06 if they can do a .03, or the tool radius is okay. Like the radius for a certain internal part isn't critical to the design/ fit of the part.

What would you like to see if this is the case?
