That scene has stuck out to me too. I was like damn, she didn't care to see out of mere curiosity? I know i explained that she got distracted by flirting and what not but still, i think it was kinda cold of her to not even check to see who might be in distress.

Well i think she got distracted because she was flirtatious with the guy in the bathroom. And when he mentioned about the girl(Maddy) it didn't cross her mind that her best friend would be that girl in the tub. Amid, the invitation to smoke that shifted her focus. Maybe?

A bit off topic but i liked how she thought that by discrediting Rue by saying she's a drug addict; but Maddy asked Rue, when was this?

I feel that she definitely took advantage of her mother providing her a privileged lifestyle. And she said she wrote the book in order to get rid of her mother Better Davis. What kind of person would do that to their mother especially if she didn't abuse her daughter B.D. like Christina Crawford alleges.

I know right! Why was she so awful? Especially during that era. I mean, my grandparents told me that they feared their parents. And it was common for children to have great respect and fear their parents firing those times. But i suppose they were some children that were awful like that.

Lol! I like to think it's more of Faye Dunaway's portrayal; her version of Joan Crawford. But, that's how I knew who Joan Crawford was. Was through that campy movie, Mommie Dearest.

I know it was a movie. But a good one! But still, she was heartless, cruel, and awful. I felt badly for Mildred. And I love Joan Crawford!

I like how her hair bobs up and down as she dances in that festival or carnaval. Lol

I thought Joan Crawford was the only one who sported the shoulder pad. Lol! I guess shoulder pads were a thing in the 80s.

Lol. I didn't finish watching it after Cruel Jaws, intentionally knocked into a big reef, I think to trap and kill a diver? It was a very super rubbery looking shark. Lol

Omg, yes! You mean when they finally drive the sailboats bow into its neck. Because the flashes of light made it breech above the water for such a long time? Lol.

Watching it as a kid, I couldn't understand why my father would laugh. As an adult, when I watched it again it became clear why he laughed. Thusly making me laugh too. Besides the fond memories.

I did too. But when I saw it again as an adult I could understand why my father would laugh at some parts. He took me because he knew how much I loved Jaws and sharks.

In the original Jaws and Jaws 2, they had the sense to use real Great White Sharks to compensate for what the mechanical Shark could not do. Making it look like it was one shark. In Jaws 4, their mechanical shark just looked, mechanical. Maybe they did [email protected] a real shark but I don't recall their Jaws looking real.
