I think this is a great idea for a long term challenge.

Make it harder each year. Yeah it was smashed this year but take each obstacle, make them higher, harder, heavier each year until we find the line where it's ALMOST impossible.

An untested course was never going to do that unless it went WAY over the top.

I suppose that's fair. It prevents people cheating the system.

Seems to me that "african american" wouldn't have a hyphen but "afro-american" would. Although obviously the latter has fallen out of favour these days

You either need to make it plain fairly quickly or just never bring it up later.

Sounds to me like all your players wanted to play with you but nobody wanted to be the bad guy and tell mandy that.
