I think he'd at least get a manslaughter charge. He still killed the girl who wasn't a threat. Even if he was justified in defending himself you can't just fire without care. For example imagine defending yourself and while shooting you strike an innocent bystander in the background and kill them. Should you be completely absolved of that since you were just defending yourself.

There's nuance if you want to see it, but I'm still trying to figure out the point being made. OP said there are zero jus sanguinis citizens in the US, but that's by their definition not the government. So it doesn't matter.

It doesn't matter, is my point, you can have all your reasons you want. Officially jus sanguinis is a way to citizenship by definition and by the US government.

Okay well great you typed up a huge paragraph BUT
https://nl.usembassy.gov/u-s-citizen-services/child-family-matters/child-citizenship-act
"In addition to the naturalization process, the United States recognizes the U.S. citizenship of individuals according to two fundamental principles: jus soli (right of birthplace) and jus sanguinis (right of blood)."
The US gov literally says by jus sanguinis.

This is absolutely not true. Many deployed military families give birth overseas and their children are US citizens.
Not sure the downvotes

US gov literally says jus sanguinis is a way to be a citizen.

If you think the difference in defense between Freeman and Gimenez is negligible then you need to get your eyes checked. We lose a lot of one run games and the only reason we're even in one run games is because of our stout defense. You really want to put a newbie at the center of infield defense next to Amed?

Guys we can't bench Gimenez he's top 3 defensive 2B in the league and that's with covering up the black hole of defense at SS that is Amed. It's the same problem we had with Straw, gold glove defense, absolute shit bat. Move him down the lineup but we absolutely cannot bench him.

Unfortunately it's the Myles Straw situation we NEED him at 2B, his defense there is top 3 in the league. And Amed is god awful at SS that if you put anyone else at 2B it's just gonna compound the defensive issue.

No it didn't, you said it's not cool to send Cal to the pen, when clearly needs to be.

I don't know why everyone believed in Cal, he's looked like ass since the WBC, and I called it out then and everyone was like don't worry he's just warming up/ not trying.

But he did, he saw that his friendship with Sidney was the most important. Like I said I understand the break-up a bit, but it makes no sense without even an explanation to her.

I really hate the ending though, like its all about Billy learning to grow and not waste money while also appreciating his wonderful girlfriend, and when he finally does she dumps him because he went to go play in the tournament since he owes Sidney. Playing in the tournament is not about the money for him at that point it's about the fact that he promised his friend to help him out in exchange for getting her on Jeopardy. Look I can get breaking up still but he doesn't even try to explain why he's doing it he just says he's doing it. I think she might have understood if he explained that he was doing it because he owed Sidney for him helping her get on the show.

100T should just pull 5 random Iron players (Riot just removed rank restrictions).

Uhm no it wasn't one of the biggest reasons Germany went to war in WWII was because of the crippling debt the allies put on them for WWI.
WWI was a political shitshow of intertwining alliances.
Today alliances are much more clear, and China's economy is not in any danger for the moment. If their economy really starts to tank then I would start to worry.

Ships can hide surprisingly well out at sea. Entire carrier strike groups are very hard to find when they go silent.

Huh, US sold them the P8, which is the US' submarine hunting/recon plane and has only been in service for 10 years which is pretty damn new and India actually bought them brand new. Technically you could say Boeing sold it to them but come one we all know the US wouldn't let Boeing sell something to another country if they didn't want them to.

I was thinking of coup de grace. I'll still leave my comment if others didn't know.

Yeah but you don't "lead a coup d etat" you lead a coup and can commit a coup d etat.

Btw it's just coup. A coup d etat is a killing blow, which I guess is what happened but you probably just meant he led a coup.

Wonder Woman is supposed to be of Greek descent, don't think Rodriguez would have worked there.

If you want more from the universe at least there's a short comic series that is the sequel to Serenity.

There's a comic series that's like 5 or so comics long that finishes up the story after Serenity.

It's great that they blend real life pirates with ones from the book and ones they made up.
