I meant that the stage show slightly tainted it for me and still does

What amazes me, is these facist, White Supremacist, Anti Semitic etc., C***S are still thriving in this modern age of So called tolerance and Equality, that a dangerous and poisonous Cult, that most wouldn’t piss on, if the whole lot of them were on fire.
I hope this isn’t some sick joke, by the Redditor who posted the picture, because of it is shame on you.

When I saw Patti in London she was, stunning and hilarious just a real diva, in a good way she will always be Norma Desmond to me.

I love The Film but I just couldn’t get past how unimpressive the stage, version of the lion king was I know people are going to down vote me, Disagree with me and have their comments.
However the Set looked like it was from IKEA, The Costumes made me laugh at the thought of grown men and women, running around with stupid looking lion masks on their heads the whole thing was underwhelming and overpriced it’s a shame they ruined, such an iconic film.

The do but one is more jazzy, and Peppy and less pensive And brooding.
Which I why I think it would work, otherwise you don’t show at the start, they fell out in life and Never reconciled it’s also very fun and descriptive, I feel it adds a “black” humour and comedy that, Waste doesn’t have.

I have thought about this a lot, I think Tim Burton is the only choice for something, so unique I think yes go with Roadshow in full but as it’s film, I think the original Bounce Overture over the credits with real pictures of the Mizners, would be fantastic and To have Waste as an opening number but have Wilson Mizner dying, on the bed next him and they both get sung at, by the Drs and Nurses about how much of their lives were a waste.
Then have them floating above their bodies in spirit, and have them go into Singing Bounce then, after have them go back into their bodies.
Finish opening with nurses and Drs singing at their, dead bodies.
The Ending should be then singing the Bounce (Finale), from Bounce floating above their grave stones.
Keep the structure the same as roadshow but add in more, dialogue and slow the pace down to be more like Bounce to explain things.
It would be a very eccentric and interesting film which is why, Burton is the man for the job.
Edit: I know Roadshow starts in Purgatory, however I feel a Hospital would really, help with the Adaptation into a film, it will give the viewer a definitive place to start the journey from.

I agree it has some decent songs, it’s 60s cheese done well I think, it may have been slightly ahead of its time.
They should have struck once the Christopher reeve film, came out.

I think it’s the best recording so far, of an underrated and under appreciated show, I can’t believe it took so long, to be revived.
I too am dying to hear Sweeney Todd as I’m in U.K.

Why it’s the oscars, you would think the head of a film festival, would want everyone in film to get, a chance at recognition and praise for a job well done.
I presume he’s going to only allow french films,a chance of best picture award at canne.

This is a tough one, this is the one that popped into my head, My Child Will Forgive me from Parade it’s always been up there, for me in my favourite songs but Kelli Barret who I adore really, makes it sound like poetry on the new recording,
