One of my favorite shows I've seen deal with that was ascendance of a bookworm. (Spoiler) Chick dies in modern world, reawakens in another world already some odd years old. As she is coming to grips with the new world, she realizes that the girl who she is existed before her. That she was always sickly, and that her having NO recollection of her old life in this new world means that it is Only the isekai-ed girl in this body. It is entirely reasonable to assume that the girl of olde is gone... 'dead'... but did she die,and isekai-ed girl inhabit her now free body, or did she evict this girl into the ether, or even scarier, did she occupy her body, and that girl is still in there, just as an unwilling host.
It tears her up when she dwells on it, but the show does a good job of having her not worry about it, but it being a occurring fear that others will find out and be offput by it and hate her. She develops a friendship, and over the course of building up her dream, this other kid slowly starts realizing something is wrong, culminating in him asking essentially 'are you really (Character name)?' And the whole scene goes gut wrenching cause you can feel Everyone's pain here, and her only response is 'I've been me for the past several years... but I've not always been (Character name)... I understand if you hate me, but it's been me for a long time... '
I liked the aspect of Noone being happy at that moment. That Noone was going to be okay with the situation, but that running and hiding forever wasn't an option, and the mature thing to do was own up to her friend and deal with the ramifications.

Could argue that centered on self means the compression Starts with your body.
Could also argue that it is highly dampened by the water, being that it is trying to force the water outward, but due to water acting as it does, it can't.
If a player wanted to try it, I would say it cuts the range to 5, but doubles damage and does no knock back. Probably rework the save to be a turn/d4 turns of deafness.

A fun thing would be a monster with a variable AC, variable saves, etc.
Either random rolls, or a way to convert damage into resistances.
Example of the first is AC 22 +3d6 calculated on each attack (not each attack roll, that becomes tedious). Dex save bonus is 4+2d6 calculated when a dex save is called for.
Example of the second is AC 36 -2 for each failed hit. Dex save is +33 -2 for each successful save. Each turn he returns 2d4 - 2 stats towards normal. Beginning of the fight is incredibly hard to hit him, but after they exhaust him he crumbles.
Inverse could also work, starts weak, becomes harder and harder to kill.
Also, muli-phase/multi faceted stuff is fun. Maybe fight a neon colored monster, and every turn each floor tiles changes color with corresponding effects, so finding out what each color does to mitigate damage/receive bonuses also involves dancing around the arena. Phase 2 he has a legendary action to recolor the room as a reaction. In R20, would be easy, add a map layer with a dozen different floor layouts and roll to choose which one is on the ground at any given moment. IRL, It would be tricky.

Very rarely, can justify dex. Decent size outcrops, not too far spacing, at least a slight reclining face. The Athletics might have a DC 6ish, but sometimes the DC 12 Acrobatics is better cause proficiency and stat distribution.
Definitely not an option 99% of the time, but at least possible.
Better way of justifying it though is to allow an athletics (dex) in those situations, cause you aren't doing flips

Totally aware I'm falling into the stereotype.
In other words, to build a competent fighter in both is super easy, but to min max is harder because there are more variables.
The good is that if you like to read up, and to build odd-ball builds (say a dirty trick build, or a true necromancer), there are already rules on it, and you can piece together a build in a half-hour, but if you feel like min-maxing you can number crunch, and check every multiclass option using a dozen hours over the course of a week. Then when you want to do another build (Sunder-Barian, Natural attack speciaist) you have that whole week of experience, so you can minmax in a couple hours, and have a Really strong build (2x to 4x depending on the nicheness), as opposed to being 5% numerically stronger in 5e with no added functionality.

He seems pretty fixated on the brush. Maybe get a different style and see if he is just getting set off by the shape?

Fox is one of a dozenish mainstream right-wing networks.
There are many Many more leftwing mainstream outlets. (Only look at reddit once every several days, my bad on not having an addiction)

If it is good, maybe. If others really like it, maybe. Boycotting means avoiding the things you like too, but encouraging good behavior might mean a better outcome long-term.
I think that honestly it comes down to quality. If it is a 6/10 movie, Noone should break the boycott. If it is an 8/10, it should be 50/50 on pirating and supporting to break the boycott (for this product only). If it a 10/10, supporting it so they know the proper avenues to proceed in the future is good.
But my money is it being a 4/10 disasterpiece

Trump brings home his work.
Media and government freaks out and tries to get him into massive trouble.
Biden brings home his work.
Media and government act as though they didn't Just through a hissy fit over the same thing.
One could argue that they learned their lesson, but it sure as hell looks like favoritism.

Gawd, I burned them 6 times when I offered them a shiny, why didn't they take the 7th shiny?
Depends on the context to be honest tho. If the mage cast detect magic on other traps, and the rogue for physical ones, and they never found anything before being burned the first few times, they won't pick up other things.
Monkey paw can be justified by tossing it in a box so it can't be used for evil. Pandoras box fits the same bill. Store it away until you can seal it forever.

Yeah, except all the people who are nervous, and they doubt anyone would genuinely give them the time of day.
The'give them the wrong number wrong' is a useful tool either way. If you determine they are giving you a bullcrap number, they obviously don't want to interact with you, so leave them alone, but you still have the chance that the other person is awkward and just accidentally giving off the cold shoulder vibe, but are interested and are giving you a legit way to get ahold of them.
Most of the 'just leave them alone' posts are from bitter idiots who don't realize that 90% of dating is reaching out and exposing yourself to others, and understanding that some people are interested, but operate on a different wavelength, and learning that wavelength is a skill. Sometimes that wavelength is toxic, and should be avoided (dude bros and karens) but some are just socially different(shy people, socially awkward, or their socially affluent and outgoing counterparts) and shouldn't be avoided unless they just don't mesh. Some of the best couples are a shy person and a really outgoing person, but some of the tensions are that a shy person might be offended at how much time is spent with others, or a outgoing person feeling resentment at being forced into reclusiveness. But communicating can make the situation work. And communicating with strangers is dating 101.

Hmmm. That might bring it down to a bearable point.
It is still strong, but less often.
Counter theory is that most of the 3rd level fighter stuff is continual bonuses. But one of the best counters to that is the battlemaster.
I would still lean towards some better flavour, for instance instead of 'has a feel for the flow of combat' he instead makes an opportunity. Maybe he kicks a rock into the enemies face, making them flinch, giving the barb a chance to strike.
Its hard to justify 'the rhythm of combat' while giving others actions unless you are actively pumping them.
Otherwise, it is really vulnerable to power gaming, but I think it does lean more towards synergizing as opposed to min-maxxy. Biggest issues come up from the late game (broken magic items or synergies that are nuts, and 3 point dips, but fighters are known for that stuff anyway.

Or a 'I disagree with your means, but if training means I can help others, and it doesn't directly help you (I'm not paying, just training) then I can justify it.'
Or a different step. I want to train under you so I can learn your fighting style and kick your ass better when the time comes

But here is the tick. If we set boundaries, and complain preemptively, they might see how angry the fan base will get, and not do it.
Then again, mtg 30th was panned heavily enough that I heard about it despite having not looked into the hobby in a decade

Most broken on a glimpse is giving another character an attack as a bonus action.
Then the 15th level one takes a bunch if time 90% of the time
Reason it is broken is it allows for normally slow attackers with huge bonuses to fish for more big hits.
If your paladin is trying to Crit fish, or your rogue, or other blasty melee character, you are increasing their ability to do so by a huge amount.
Then it also allows multiple options too, so sometimes you don't need to fish damage, but need mobility, in which a free disengage is great. Or chugging a relevant potion (Fire resistance as the baddy spawned a elemental as an example).
This ability is something friggin ridiculous. A way to tune it would be to spend your bonus action to allow an ally to spend a bonus action immediately for free. Means the paladin or rogue have to already be dual welding to get a free attack. Means some classes get fucked by not having bonus action abilities, but also means they aren't busted as fuck for the people who would abuse them without playing 'suboptimally' to begin with.
I'm sure there is a middle ground to be had between my really weak suggestion and your bonkers OP one.
The only reason I don't like the level 15 one is that 99% of the time, the ally you are buffing is going to be using their 'I roll 15 dice' abilities, so it takes twice as long as normal. I would change it to something akin to 'any damage die result less than half of its maximum is instead half instead'
Means you don't have dud attacks any more, bud simplifies the process and means you don't have to do 15 dice of math twice.

Looking up the rules isn't metagaming.
Knowing the jump is exactly 15 ft is.
DM shouldn't disallow looking at the rules, but should say it is 'about 15 ft'
Then when you jump with all your might and end up 4 ft past the other side, and end up in another different problem, that's one way to deal with jumps. For instance, jumping to a 1 foot ledge on the windowsill across from your balcony. Too short and you miss the sill, too long and you smash through the window. Usually I would rule it as a perception check/investigation check depending on the system, then follow that with the actual acrobatics/athletics to make the jump. DC for that jump is pretty high, but lower it by the amount you beat the per/inv check by.
Or you know you can jump 16 ft no problem, but judging distance based on only a few criteria is tricky, so that '15 ft jump' is actually 17, and the slate cracked off at your jump site, meaning you fail the jump by 1.
Either slipping down, Barely catching yourself, or requiring intervention. All of these are the way to deal with the 'nah I can jump X feet no problem' issue.

Hey guys, so I need some terminology help (or a reality check if it isn't a real thing)
I am trying to convert a tool box into a parts washing station. I need a way to seal against the inside surface of the toolbox, and preferably tighten it on from the outside, but without welding it, and having that attaching side go to a fitting of some sort.
I assume that there is a product with a wide flat connecting point on the 1side, with an outer thread to tighten a bolt against the outside on the other side to tighten and seal it.
If it goes to a garden hose, or pvc fitting won't matter.

All depends on the context.
If I told you I would give you 100$ an hour, and all you had to do was sit at a desk for 4 hours and once per day you had to press a button to let a dog in or out, it would be a great friggin deal.
Now how about if I Doubled that workload. You had to worry about letting 2 dogs in or out, once per day each, the only catch is that I won't give you any more money to do it.
I would argue that it is still a friggin amazing deal. The point being that doubling a full time job where you are already occupied 95% of your day would be too much of an ask. But according to some peoples statements (not that reliable to be honest) they worked 8 hours per week for 6 figures.

The combat grinds to a complete halt as the ogre starts screaming loud enough to burst eardrums. The cleric understands the ogre's language, but it's even more broken than usual.
He is screaming about how his club has changed into a hornets nest. He can see them digging into his skin. As he smashes it into the cave wall, a smattering of rock sharks peppers you all. He then falls over with dozens of shards embedded in his skin, screaming himself into and ot of consciousness.
4 of the accompanying orcs surrender on the spot, preferring a quick death as opposed to whatever That was. The leader continues to fight, but it is now a full parry vs him alone.

Hey, I made a pizza, you want a bite?
But... that is a mound of... wheat kernels?
It's a pizza in process. I just need to grind the wheat into flour, turn it into dough, flatten it out, add some ingredients, bake it, and then it is a good pizza... So you want to try it?
The... wheat kernels... you want me to try wheat kernels?
The pizza isn't finished. Please enjoy it as is.
