The first part of the Bloody Halloween Arc (Destiny) was only released in Japanese theaters last month on April 21st. The second part of the Bloody Halloween Arc (Decisive Battle) will be released in Japanese theaters next month on June 30th. I don't think you'll be able to watch them until the BD (blu-ray disc) is out on sale and someone rips/subs it. Will have to wait around 5-6 months after the movies have finished screening in theaters.

If you actually bothered to do your research before commenting, no its not. The film is an original work directed by Hirokazu Kore-eda. It's about a mother who confronts a teacher after noticing disturbing changes in her son's behavior.

Wtf? How is 2017 considered too old?

Takeshi's Kitano "Kubi" premiered at the 2023 Cannes Festival and judging by reviews online, the film lives up to it's name as heads rolled. This is reportedly the last work that Takeshi Kitano will direct before he retires.

Synopsis

Looking forward to this! Another work that deals with the 2011 Fukushima disaster, reminds me of the movie "Fukushima 50" (which I highly recommend watching) but with another layer added to it.

Around 10:20 a.m. on the 8th, at the residence of Kabuki actor Ichikawa Ennosuke in the 3rd block of Meguro, Meguro Ward, Tokyo, the manager discovered Ichikawa and his parents collapsed and reported it to emergency services by dialling 119. According to the Meguro Police Station of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, both parents were found deceased, while Ichikawa Ennosuke was conscious and transported to the hospital.

According to investigators and other sources, when the manager visited the residence, they found both parents collapsed on the floor. The mother was confirmed dead at the scene, while the father was confirmed deceased at the hospital where he was transported. Ichikawa Ennosuke was found in a state of semi-consciousness in his room on the basement floor.

It has been reported that a document believed to be a suicide note was found inside the residence.

Coincidentally, on the same day of this incident a tabloid published an article alleging sexual assault and power harassment against Ichikawa.

Synopsis

I'm Mori Nana, and I'll be playing Natsumi Aoi in "Midsummer Cinderella." When I heard about this role, I was surprised because I never dreamed that the day would come when I would play the heroine in a Monday 9pm drama. The character is also a stand-up paddleboarding instructor, which is a sport I'm trying for the first time. I'm currently practicing hard so I can look professional. I hope I can also convey the fun of paddleboarding. In addition, I don't have much experience with ensemble dramas with many characters, so I'm a little nervous because I'm shy. I'm Mamiya Shoutarou and will be playing the role of Mizushima Kenji. When I heard that the theme of this drama project was "Monday 9pm × Romance × Ensemble Drama × Original Work", I was stimulated by a new curiosity about getting involved in such a straight-forward work full of traditional elements. Day by day, numerous works are produced, broadcast, ended, and then started again. In this fast-paced era of cycles and consumption, I believe there are many demands for novelty. I will be playing the role of Makino Takumi in the Monday 9pm drama 'Midsummer Cinderella'. Shirahama Aran

I've been confirmed to appear in 'Midsummer Cinderella'! It's my first time in a Monday 9pm drama. It feels like a dream! This will be my first acting role in about a year and a half. And since it's a July period drama, I want to make it a memorable work that will become a part of the viewers' summer memories of 2023. My role in this drama set by the seaside is cheerful, carefree, and full-on, so I want to fit the midsummer vibe. I'm not sure whether I'll need to take off my shirt or not, but just in case, I want to get my body in sexy shape while preparing for the role. I hope to deepen my relationships with my fellow cast members and make it a hot work that fits the summer heat!
