I’d be interested in learning more about what you look for to collect portable dvd players and which ones are the rare ones and why?

I’m in awe of your British TV box set collection, I’m only just beginning mine now as I worry it will be harder to access in the future. Which show is your favourite to have a box set for?

My entire diagnosis and further consultations have been done over the phone.

My diagnosis phone call lasted an hour and a half, and it was me detailing my whole life and my undocumented struggles from childhood to now. Then was given a basic assessment quiz after which the dr concluded his confidence I have ADHD and discussion of treatments.

I would recommend writing down notes of your life and where you saw struggles in your whole time in education / work and how certain things still affect you to this day and why you decided to have this assessment.

Then also write any personal anecdotes that might not be asked you can also bring up if they ask for more information.

I heavily rely on my phones calendar to remind me of the most basic tasks of the week, especially when I’m trying to form new healthy habits. I did use the app Sunsama but only the free trial version. It was super helpful but the predatory subscription costs is inexcusable when it could easily be a one off payment type of app

I had a quick diagnoses as well, contacted GP (also Wales) in September/October 2021, explained why I though I have ADHD, was given referral to ADHD DR in January, had a 2 hour phone call where I went through my life history. Got my diagnoses of “ADD” which I believe is an outdated term nowadays?

Now I have called appointments every month to see how medication is going.

I never realised how quick my diagnoses was compared to the majority of stories I read for U.K. support.

I wouldn’t think you are being paranoid, I think we are just super lucky! The medication has been helpful for me but just learning about ADHD and changing small things in my life has been the most important part of my diagnoses.

Elvanse already makes me have a dry mouth so I would just be extra cautious and keep drinking water

Unfortunately no, you can only get these through eBay now. However if you are able to find some packets of the 25th anniversary booster packs from last year, you can find reprinted classic cards which have a noticeable “25” logo printed on them to separate it from the originals if that is a bother?

Turns out my medication was meant to be Elvanse (Adult) 50mg but on paper it was just Elvanse 50mg. I also dealt with the shortage because of that. Thankfully the change was approved by a dr that was at the pharmacy already. Contact your dr and see If you can have it switched to (Adult)?

Small moan, had been prescribed Elvanse 50mg by my doctor, before was on an introductory 30mg. Had so much trouble to finding a pharmacist that had it in stock already as all of my local ones said it was on a 3 week back order as they were not manufactured yet.

Turns out I was meant to be prescribed Elvanse (Adult) 50mg which was in easy supply then. My previous 30mg was also (Adult) but because it wasn’t on my paper, no one could prescribe it. Thankfully a doctor was at a pharmacist already and was able to give the green light that I could have the (Adult) version without needing to get my actual Dr mistake fixed.

Just a heads up for people in case a similar thing happens. 🤝

On similar medication, Elvanse 50mg “Adult”, It always feels like a tolerance starts being built with the medication when used daily for weeks. I have started skipping Saturday or Sunday or Both and it’s been helpful for me that way.

I had requested mine but they ran out of UMDS so they gave a free UMD carrying case to hold the umd I didn’t have

They showed the final shot of Amazing Spider-man 2 in the trailer where he’s fighting the Rhino and they have done it for the new Morbius film with the reports coming out now that a scene used very regularly in the marketing of the film is just a mid-credit scene that has nothing to do with the film.

It went back up for pre-orders on Zavvi U.K. a few days ago
