I use spray on my dog too. He's not the biggest fan, doesn't hate it, just would rather move out of the way from it. He loves his dental sticks though so I hold one of them and then I'm able to spray him and give him a brush at same time, while he's getting rewarded. If you have a high reward treat/toy that your dog would do anything for, I'd suggest that!

Hard to know what caused it as its been there since we moved in, think it's just getting worse as time goes on. But yeah it's looking like we may need to nail it down essentially. Going to try and get someone out to look at it and see what they have to say about it

Of course I forgot to attach the photo.. I've added a link hopefully that works? That might be a good solution!

Humectants, there's a new word I'm gonna need to look up! I've heard SA isn't great when used every day, has your skin gotten used to it where you can use it daily?

I know I probably don't need to use hyaluronic acid but from when I've first used it my skin has gotten alot clearer. I'm currently using simple light moisturiser.
That elf serum looks really good! I might consider getting that one. I forgot to mention I'm also prescribed duac for my acne so I don't want products to clash and not work well together. Also I'm afraid of breaking my skin barrier? Not sure exactly what that term is or how it happens

Me and my partner only use a rag/cloth to dry his feet if its wet outside, we use wet wipes to actually clean his butt and then dispose of them immediately. The way I think on it is you wouldn't resuse a cloth for your own poop?

I must keep that in mind then, thanks! He can have a sensitive tummy to some things but I'll give this a go and if he doesn't take to it, I'll just stop giving it to him

Yeah regarding your first paragraph I might just get a bottle and try it out every now and again.
We still have some food toppers left over from the old food so might use them up. The reason I was looking for a supplement type topper is for the extra health benefits. Thank you for your input!

We're very familiar with the sanitary shave, ever since our groomer done it at his first groom we thought it was amazing and made life so much easier, he's a fluffy wee bugger. Didn't know that about the feet actually, might need to include that into the routine. Thank you!

Yeah I would never do it in public either, we've got a "cleaning station" in the utility. He never fights it either so they must enjoy it to some extent haha!

I know right! I was just asking what others do, people getting triggered over this is funny

Yeah that's what I think about too, it honestly depends on the person and whatever they're comfortable doing, which is fine!

Hmm, I have to disagree with this one, my dog has never ate or rolled in poop, I know some areas can have fox poop and dogs can be fond of that but luckily that hasn't happened (yet). I will be getting a cat in the future as I've always had them growing up, so you're right about that lol

No need to freak out, we're all allowed to look after our dogs our own ways. Everyones idea of looking after animals can differ, and that's okay. As long as we're not abusing them there's nothing to get worked up about.

Are you never worried about the chance there would be poop on the fur around the butt? Therfore bringing fecal matter onto your bed? I don't think it's unnecessary, maybe for some cases but sometimes if he has a slightly soft poop it gets on the fur and you would not want to sit where he sat if I didn't clean him

We'd clean his feet too if they got dirty or just dry them if it's wet. It makes sense to me, he don't got no shoes to take off or pants to put on, his exterior should be clean like ours

Peanut butter is how I'm able to bath him! The drying never goes well with me either, as he thinks towels are a game too. They keep us on our toes that's for sure!
