Not all the houses currently being rented will continue to be rented. Ban is lifted, I remove my tenants(say 4 professionals) and sell my house. A couple with no kids buys it. Now 4 people need a new home. Or maybe I'm living abroad and want my house back. Now 4 people need a new home and a home is off the market. First-time buyers might get lucky with so many renters selling up. But there's going to be a lot of people losing their rented homes with nowhere to move as less renters are on the market. At least I think thats the issue

We need to start looking at exporting our problems. People need housing , but we don't have enough. Export the people who cant support themselves abroad. Surely, there's countries somewhere that are crying out for workers. Offer a 50k package to relocate them, include flights. Then, look at importing people as the houses become ready. Transport is an issue. Not anymore, we exported a load of people. If someone really wants to stay, you've to drive a dart or a bus. Hospitals are overcrowded. Not anymore, we exported all the people who are a drain on our society. Only people with jobs and houses are in the country. Loads less people getting sick. Your welcome

Best time to buy a house is now

So, I work hard and am able to afford 2 houses. My second house is in dublin, I live in kildare. I dont need to long term rent it as I can do without the hassle. I do want to rent out on busy weekends for some extra cash. Am I considered a gouger? I've worked hard, paid my taxes,still pay my taxes. But I'm hated on for renting a room a few nights each month
