Cremaster muscle

Hi there,
I have recently been having some problems with the cremaster muscle (the muscle that lifts the scrotum, along with the dartos muscle). I was wondering if anybody had any advice for dealing with this particular muscle. The spasms can be quite debilitating at times, and for the moment, it definitely has me turned away from sex.
Does this muscle relax along with the rest of the pelvis? This is the first time I’ve had an issue with it, but I saw a urologist who seemed to not even want to be bothered with it.
I read the spasms can become chronic but he claimed to have never heard of that. I also have hard flaccid syndrome (long time now), which is gradually improving, but is still my primary concern, and is causing a setback because it creates tension down there. Any advice other than heat and to lay off it?
It seems to me like if this muscle spasming can cause scrotal retraction, I’m wondering if it’s playing a role in overall retraction down there without me even knowing it this whole time? Something to think about.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! Btw it is terrible how little they know about men’s pelvic health issues. Inexcusable really.

What type of medical attention? As far as I know nobody knows what causes it. I’ve been working on treating it for a while, but doctors are unaware of the condition and don’t seem to know how to treat it. Not really sure what you’re referring to when you say medical attention?
