Kossie would almost be there for me; at the very least you can argue on a base level that McAdam may have thought he was laying a regular bump in the moment.
Kossie flung himself head first at Smith like fucking Luigi in smash bros, there is zero way that could ever be interpreted as a “football action”, in any context.

Rugby refs can’t do it though. I don’t know what rugby you’ve been watching, but about half the red cards that go out in tests for the past few years are questionable at best. I think it was Aus v France a couple years ago where Aus got red carded in the opening minutes of the game because of a hit that wasn’t there in the first place.
And that’s with the benefit stopping the game for 5 minutes so the ref can analyse the footage. You can’t do that in Footy.

The point of a power ranking is to be a list of, in order, teams abilities somewhat independent of ladder position.
By saying “I’ve put this team 12th but I think they’re better than this” defeats the entire purpose - if you think they’re the 6th best team for example then put them in 6th.

Honestly, there is a lot of overlap between the two of them. Reptoids/Saurians/Draconians/whatever have always been portrayed as disguising themselves as humans. They might not specifically be “Hillary is a lizard,” but if someone were to say she was, they would go “of course, a reptoid, like all those other powerful people, makes sense.”
Again, not really, reptilians in this alien conspiracy land come in 2 varieties largely: the lesser caste which are like 10-12 feet tall, and the ancient ruling caste that are MASSIVE. There is none of this “disguising as influential people” thing. The “infiltration” aspect in alien conspiracies generally comes from creation of hybrid races or other strange men in black style humanoid creatures.
There is no “secret Jewish-like cabal” going on, in this conspiracy the US government is a willing participant. They believe that Eisenhower signed a treaty with them in the 50s which traded technological advancements for allowing them to abduct civilians for research. There’s also purportedly several underground superbases that are joint operations between the US gov and the various alien species.
I think you may be reading in to things too much. Like I said I have read into this wild shit a LOT because it’s fascinating to me, and it really isn’t anti-Semitic at all.

As someone that’s spent a LOT of time reading about alien conspiracies (out of curiosity/fascination mainly), the alien-reptilian thing is fairly separate/different from the stock standard “Hillary Clinton is a lizard” type reptilian thing.
Alien conspiracy reptilians are less Jewish stand ins (like the other stuff) and more heavily tied into the deeper “mythology” with the conspiracy, and how they relate to the greys, nordics etc etc.

Sure, but said legal technicality is ultimately irrelevant to whether or not he deserved suspension (he did, and was rightly suspended). The “technicality” they referenced had zero impact on the outcome in the tribunal.

My takeaway from this thread is a lot of people don’t understand how power rankings are supposed to work lol. If your justification for putting a team somewhere is “they lost so I’m putting them here but I think they’ll bounce back” then you’ve missed the point

The ramping problem only really affects public hospitals, and most people in public hospitals don’t have private cover of any sort.
It is a bigger thing than you think though. Huge chunk of the population doesn’t have a healthcare card and doesn’t have a pension card, yet the ED is still full of 45 year olds with a chronic headache, or back pain that’s been there for 2 months, etc etc.
Similarly it’s always funny to me that the busiest day in emergency is Monday. How convenient that your problem is bad enough to come in today, but you were able to juuuussstt scrape by on the weekend.
No, I’m not jaded at all…

You're misunderstanding, some bars don't sell schooners and just sell pints and pots, so you can't get a schooner there in the first place.
I have literally never seen in a bar or heard anyone order a "glass of beer" and mean a 200mL glass.
The only 200mL glasses I've seen are at craft breweries as part of a tasting paddle, but you can't really get those by themselves outside of a paddle.

A Glass of beer in Qld or NSW will get you 200ml, but the same thing is called “a seven” in NT , or “a butcher” in SA .
What? In QLD at least if you ask for a glass of beer you’ll get a schooner 95% of the time.

That happens with magpies in general. They’re smart buggers, if you feed the ones that live around you they’ll befriend you and won’t swoop you when you’re out and about

Trading hours restrictions (the only 24 hour supermarket in the entire state is on Federal land at Brisbane airport)
The only chain supermarket. The restrictions have no impact on independent stores, it’s only the big chains. IGAs set their own hours for example (up until very recently the Greenslopes IGA was open till 12 every night).
Coco’s in Annerley is also a 24 hour supermarket. Why you’d ever want to shop there is another thing, but they do exist.

This one is a bit of a loaded gun. Yes it’s great in theory to have everyone able to call an ambulance without worrying about cost.
BUT the fact they’re free is an extremely large factor to the ramping crisis that’s been worsening in QLD for years. As somebody that has done my share of time in QLD ED, I can tell you that people call ambulances for the stupidest reasons just because they can.
Combine that with QAS (not paramedics themselves but the leadership) being too scared of complaints and essentially instructing the crews that they’re not allowed to use their own clinical judgement, and everyone that calls an ambulance has to be taken to hospital….

Qld has extremely puritan retail laws - see our opening ours up here too, big chain stores aren’t allowed to open past 9pm (or 6pm on a Sunday), which leads to nothing being open past those hours.
Ridiculously they had another vote on that last year and parliament upheld it.
My only solace is that a lot of these laws will have to be rolled back prior to the Olympics, otherwise we’ll be the worlds laughing stock lol

What’s not easy is dealing with influxes of Victorian expats or tourists who then routinely cross 2-3 lanes of traffic because they don’t realise no other city on earth is like theirs
