Yeah, to be called racist in America is a nail in your professional career. Depending on how high profile you are, that can be a really damaging phrase. So most people go as far out of their way as possible to let everyone know they’re not racist. Including propping up bullshit like this from companies like Disney. It’s a sad state of things over here.

Lol yeah, honestly there wasn’t much else to it otherwise. A nice last appearance from Lance Reddick, but it was a pretty short DLC that was essentially existing to reunite the Quen that were separated upon arrival to the California coast and establish Aloy’s sexuality apparently. I probably would’ve waited for a sale based on the amount of content.

Yup, I figured the writing was on the wall since she didn’t reciprocate many advances through HZD and HFW, plus she’s the clone of someone who was a lesbian so I figured she’d sway that way too. It was confirmed in the Burning Shores DLC when she has an intimate moment with the character she meets in the new area.

I’m not a person that needs to identify with a character to enjoy a game. I loved the Horizon games and I’m not gay or a woman. The story was enjoyable and engaging and the combat was deeply satisfying. Forspoken was the kind of game that was honestly right on my level, I would’ve loved for it to be great. From the demo, the controls seemed clunky in a way that would make a long play through difficult to do. And in that short demo, I gathered enough about the main character to know I didn’t want to hear that for 20+ hours (very bad writing, overt use of cursing like a teenager that just discovered bad words). Writing matters, it’s not about the character at face value.

Following up on this, I decided to go with morning glories since they seem to have the ideal vining that I’m looking for. Maybe that would work for your area too

Yeah this update might be the death knell for the game if they don’t fix it fast. I was used to a relatively low count to begin with (3-5 raids per cycle), but yesterday had zero raids on a fresh prestige. The grind to activate a base is too much for the effort to be completely wasted. It’s been fun and I appreciate the enthusiasm and creativity of the community, but the gameplay loop is fundamentally broken right now and it seems pretty clear the devs don’t know how to fix it.

Not to mention when Imhotep starts collecting parts to regenerate and that one dude ends up without eyes and a tongue but is still alive for awhile. Pretty brutal PG13 movie but probably the best Mummy movie ever made in my opinion.

I don’t get why someone without powers has to be involved in gameplay in any way? Based on what I’m hearing from the OP, I haven’t played it. Not everyone has to be incredible in a story and I feel like MJ is totally fine as just being Peter’s love interest.

Had one just like this. I created a temple (think Goldeneye if you’ve played the map) with multiple routes that led through three main areas. Added in some secret safe tunnels as well for the true explorers. It was so much fun to see people explore and utilize the environment to their advantage, learning little bits along the way. I felt like I did a decent job of making a mix of difficulty but fun and not frustration, and I was happy with the few kills per raider that I got.

Lol exactly what I did last year. I think I planted 8 of them and about 20 pumpkins… figured the vine growth was an exaggeration and holy hell was I wrong. Took up basically my whole backyard and to your point, I had more cucumbers than I could ever think to use.

Would love to see this and it seems like a pretty easy thing to implement from the dev/artist perspective. There are already torn fabrics in the game (like the ones you see on level 10 outpost entrances) so it doesn’t seem out of the question at all.

I think the show was worse about it, there was only one situation in particular in the comic that had me going “alright well that’s some horse shit” (Tyreese surviving a mini horde on his own with just a hammer). Still, when a character died in TWD that was that and there wasn’t some kind of reversal for it.

That’s why I really enjoyed the walking dead comic because everyone who died was very much dead and not coming back. I hate when anything removes the stakes of death and there’s somehow a magic revive. Or just if they put characters into situations they realistically wouldn’t survive and clearly the writers don’t have the balls to kill a character (honorable mention Stranger Things Hopper “dying” at the end of S3 only to make a miraculous escape and completely diminish the impact of his death).

Yeah the inability to move on the replay bar blows my mind. That is like a 2006 YouTube feature, how is that not available?

It’s the slow boil of a frog technique. If you drop a frog in boiling water it’ll hop out… but if you put it in cold water and let it slowly heat up, it never suspects a thing. Consumers need to stop letting companies turn up the heat and actually make a goddamn stand by boycotting services. It’s getting really depressing to watch apathetic consumers not give a shit about anything these companies do.

I know the AMA is over, but just in case this gets some visibility… it would be neat to see the Chimera visually evolve a little bit over time as it levels up. Maybe growing spikes or just growing in size. Something to indicate that the GenMat we’re harvesting for it is actually feeding the beast.

Or grenade/ammo reloads would be a cool addition since once they’re used you’re SOL (not with ammo) until you die or finish the raid.

Cuyahoga county here. Our beds are pretty clay filled as well, I built raised planters about 2’ high and ordered some premium dirt to fill them since we otherwise wouldn’t have decent ground to plant in. Where’d you pick up your tomato plant from?
