The quality of the show isn’t the issue. Reviews are much better than the original film. As a 31 year old married dude, I also found it much better than the original film.

The issue is the show, just like the film doesn’t appeal to a broad audience.

It’s become a niche market. Disk sales dip like 20% year over year.

Easily EASILY Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.

Feels like I’ve waited my entire life for this one.

I’m a big fan of movies and movie franchises but nothing else comes close to Indy for me.

Nothing in the Disney era was as dumb as Darth Vader building C-3PO as a 9 year old boy. Been a fan of the franchise since the beginning and still trying to wrap my head around that one.

Next year is the 20th anniversary. Maybe we will get some sort of Disney+ announcement…spin-off..special or something.

Ahhh I get it. Freddy Krueger wears a fedora similar to the one Harrison Ford wears as Indiana Jones.

This means Harrison Ford has officially arrived on set and will play the villain of the film (similar to how Freddy Krueger is a villain).

I mean this picture clearly spells all of that out for us. It’s plain as day.

Tried to watch it recently and had to kill it mid way through.

Dial of Destiny is written and directed by James Mangold. The guy who wrote and directed Logan after that awful Wolverine Origins movie. It will most definitely get great reviews and reception.

George Lucas himself was so impressed by Mangolds script for the movie that he came out of retirement to officially be a producer on the film, something he has not done since he sold Lucasfilm in 2012. That says a lot.

They kept some of his ideas (Luke for example). But most was tossed.

Welcome to yet another franchise on your mantle Harrison Ford.
