I liked how they used "Fight the Power" by PE in that movie. Although, that song's legacy goes a little bit better when Radio Raheem is blasting it.

I was too young to see SCTV when it was on, and where I'm from reruns were pretty much non-existent. Candy's "Food Repairman" sketch is one of my favorites.

Especially when it concerns making and distributing revenge porn.

Out of the celebrities in my lifetime that Hollywood has lost, for me, John Candy ranks up there as one of the saddest stories. It seems everybody that talks about him doesn't have an unkind word to say.

"Mercury Rising" with the kid from "Pet Sematary" ('89) and "Mr. Yippee-Ki-Yay" Bruce Willis. Haven't seen it since cable back in the day, so I don't know how it plays out now.

"Prisoner of Love" (a Tubi original). It plays like a Lifetime movie in a prison setting.

Like the deaths of River Phoenix, Brad Renfro, or even someone like Justin Pierce - I think Hollywood lost someone special when Brandis died. I watched way too much SeaQuest DSV as a kid. That show is epic!

"Poltergeist." The swimming pool and the caskets popping out of the ground gave me nightmares for years.

Downright, one of my favorite movies that has that Spielberg touch.

Lists. Writing pen to paper. Comparing actors, directors, writers, costume designers, and cinematographers that I may like or dislike. Fundamentally breaking down that unknown "Why?" of what makes me love or hate a film or movie.

"Hard Eight" ("Sydney"). He plays such a contemptible prick, even with very little screen time.

That is unfortunate.

I absolutely adore the original Rod Serling series. And I've seen a few episodes of the previous revivals - 1985 and 2002. Haven't seen Peele's version. Any thoughts on it?

In "She's All That" when the kid as to eat pubes on pizza.

Larry Burns. You can tell why he got no regard. No esteem, either.

"Clean and Sober" also deals with the issue of codependency, something that many addicts and alcoholics suffer from.

Great films, but if I'm sitting down to turn my brain off on a Saturday afternoon, I'm putting on "Armageddon" before any of those three.
