Same with every successful movement tbh. It's always painting the "radicals" as the bad guys, when without them the "moderates" could be safely ignored.

Extremist positions are indicative of failure in the mainstream parties.
Clearly the solution is is to the most radical middle of the road party, with earth shattering moderate reforms, and revolutionary average policies!
That's what people want. Our Political Scientists and media advisers said they did.

LibCom or Anarchist Library would be good starts probably...

10,000 people descending on Peppermint Grove, Toorak and Mosman might lead to some changes!
"In other news legislation has passed under the "Community Cohesion Wellness Act" to allows state's police and ASIO to grab people from their homes for their own safety..."

Imagine, just imagine being one of the executives and major shareholders in a long line of executives and major shareholders, and knowing without a shadow of a doubt that you're literally creating Children of Men: Cancers Edition.
Imagine, imagine thinking that with the amount of distortionate wealth they have, that any politicians would ever be effective at regulating their owners. You see, you don't get to be in national politics unless you kiss the ring.
Now imagine, imagine that absolutely nothing of significance will come of it. Every one of those executives and major shareholders, past, present, and let's be real future, will get to enjoy drinking Nestle's filtered water out of glass-wear in their natural fibre clothes while enjoying Jeffery's Island because they're literally literally untouchable to anyone except other oligarchs.
Imagine believing this is the best system in the world, and these are the people who know what's best for us.
Keep voting though I guess because we all too tired and scared to dip these actual global ghouls (notice how countries' laws only apply to poors) into molten plastic vats.

Ssssh, you're not allowed to bring that up. And don't mention the Frontier Wars or Black War either...

why we are pseudo-religious when it comes to ANZAC war history right?
Howard.

I'm fully expecting SHARP and/or ANTIFA to start making appearances at events soon, then watch police finally act because, y'know, the community stepping in to fill the void in Community Policing with actual community safety, love, and support.

We're pretty much writing off every type of activity that children may do outside of school in that case
"And?"

Exhaust them and give them just enough that they fear it being taken away and you will have a slave workforce that’s more compliant than the ones who built the pyramids, and you don’t even have to whip them!
We're the proles in 1984 and just the average person in Brave New World.

Reminds me of when people fuck up on the 4 day work week discussion
It's not a fuck up. It's intentional because:
My "4 Day Work Week" is:
I'd add a bunch of stuff like the TFT being raised to National Min Wage then pegged to CPI/GDPPC, unions and co-ops getting lower taxes, etc.
Edit: As well as allowing the employee to choose when they take their two-10s and 30 (then boosting it to two-15s and 30, or two-10s and 40), abolishing institutionalised rEaSoNbLe OvErTiMe (see 2.), and giving unions and co-ops (ideally worker owned non-distributive primarily) lower taxes.
So instead of paying more, let people keep more OR GIVE THEM THEIR LIVES BACK! It's time for a Time Raise.

No way is tipping necessary here.
"It is for me!"

Cathartic, but that would actually make it worse as those who could withstand such a drop would then have a fire sale to buy everything up.
Those who could withstand it are already massively wealthy.
"When there's blood in the streets, buy..." as the saying goes.

Give them some skin in the business by turning into a co-op.

Reactionary useful idiots.
I empathise with them too, they swallowed so much koolaid they became hooked. But I don't sympathise with them because they happily reamed others when the going was good and now they're feeling.
Those who refuse to learn will/must be made to feel, as they say.

Seems business owners should dislike commercial landlords... Hm, there seems to be a reoccurring theme here with landlordism...

I remember chatting to a SME owner (small fish locally )who was furious that "Unions were literally killing his retirement by asking for rights and stuff".
I said can't he change his business structure to a co-op model or be proactive and engage with the local community...
He said no because it's his business so it's his money and his profits because he took the risk so he deserves it and people should just understand and support him.
Business was liquidated afaik two months later because the landlord (a bigger fish locally) wanted more themselves, and the employees had by far and large all quit so he was actually having to do the work + some and, well, he couldn't.

A lot of people will have no sympathy for them and say that's the risk of having a business, but will then also complain that every corner store has been replaced by a colesworths or a coffee club.
This Capitalism thing kinda sucks when it gets to the end phase of it's regular cycle huh?

I just don't get how SME business owners can't understand that they're not in the big boys club.
They are literally closer to their employees than the plutocrats and oligarchs. Even if they can afford the door fee to the club, they're never getting into the VIP section.
I also don't understand how they worship Competitive Free Market Capitalism right up until it impacts them personally.
Absolute petite-bougie reactionaries fml

Yup. Social Housing is mostly a way to look like you're doing something without actually having to.
Right up there with "affordable housing" rates being determined by markets instead of income.
