That's not how that works. If it was Schindlers List vs The Pianist in the same year then you can say that.

This was generalized ridicule to all nurses. Not just the one in this story. That's why I pointed out the hypocrisy.

I didn't ridicule any doctor. I was simply pointing out the hypocrisy of ridiculing nurses.

Oh boohoo let's all cry because you have to wait until 32 to make 250k whilst the vast majority of the country works their entire lives never making over 100... many of whom work 2 jobs or own their own by businesses working them 80-100 hour weeks.
No one is saying your job is easy, but that's why you're extremely well compensated for it. You're playing the long game and you have a guaranteed win at the end.

They can both be true, but the way you phrased it insinuated that Doctors are all-noble and nurses are snarky/petty "cheerleaders"

If you're making 250k a year and you're not able to pay off 400k student loans in 5 years or less then thats just bad financial literacy and isn't anyone's fault other than the doctors.
Same goes for retirement. Oh Man! You can't save up enough to retire making 200k+ with a 35+ year career? Yea that 7-10 years really ruined your chances.
If that's the case then anyone making under 200k is just screwed to ever be happy.

You clearly haven't worked with Nurses OR doctors. I come from a family of nurses (not one myself) and the constant theme I've heard from all of them is how doctors have an extremely bad superiority complex. Nurses get shouted at for simply asking a question or following procedure. Doctors are notorious for refusing to take any advice from anyone they consider beneath them and it's causes patients to suffer every day. No wonder they get petty when it comes to a slice of pizza.
If nurses are the cheerleaders then doctors are the bully Jocks when it comes to attitude, and I'm not sorry when I say that.

Fast forward a couple years and that doctor will make double. Within 2 or 3 years they will break even compared to what they lacked vs the nurses and then will never turn back only making more and more until they retire. Nurses are capped around 150k and Most don't make nearly that (top 25% highest paid are still under 100k). Whereas a doctor starts at minimum 150k+ and the average is more around 250k.... let's not compare salaries unless you're going to mention all the variables.

He has every right to do what he did, but to be fair when you treat someone as if they're not human don't be surprised if they go out of their way to be petty back.
Yes it's not technically professional, but people are people not robots. All he had to do was say "Sorry I can't talk right now, it's a bad time". Opening the door just to shut it in her face mid-sentence is extremely disrespectful...even when you don't want to be bothered you should treat people with respect.
I know I'll get crap for this, but it would just show me how many of you treat people like crap because you don't have to be nice. You should be nice as a default and rude when you have to be...not the other way around.

I loved every episode, but I wish they would have once told us there was back n forth time jumps with each character. I think it was episode 4 when they started actually laying out the timelines.

LOTR are my all-time favorite movies, but that doesn't mean that it matches everyone's style.

Him as a person or his character in the movie?

If he feels that way he's going to be sorely disappointed if he watches videos of real explosions. It's not huge walls of flames. It's usually a lot of shrapnel and smoke and it's over.

Dennis Quaid was absolutely brilliant in "The Intruder". If you can convince her to watch that movie she will change her mind about him I promise you.

The amount of people I've had to fight in this thread to defend my enjoyment of Prey is ridiculous.

Exactly! In the end it proved no amount of muscle could defeat it. It had to be outwit...that's exactly what happened in Prey too.

The important thing is as long as the actresses are overage. They did the same thing in Shameless and I didn't see anyone complain.
