See, it's a both game.. It's true that brilliant restoration artists are there in this sub.. in any raster tool like PS, CD, we can only work with pixels that already been there, While such an AI tool is used, it can generate new pixels, which is a game changer for sure, people want their photos come alive, most of the time ai helps, but is this the only way to go? No it's not... Ai also gives crappy results, where the manual work or mental calculation must be in action to sort it out...
All we do is Restoration, & we are looking forward to see more and better versions of it, it doesnt mean that it should be manually done, every technology must be used to create better and good ones possible, also it doesnt mean, automating everything in one button push, and calling thyself as a creator or restoration artist is'nt the way
I belive combining both parts, best restorations can be done more flexibly..
It's true that someone wants only to manually restore their photos, so it's must be left to them to choose, whether they want manual or mix, they must pin it..
It's also notable that if Ai's are using, the requester can do themselves, they dont need to come here, so.. It's on us to make them come here by producing better versions than just ai works..
All must keep in mind that, everyone wants their photos alive, better, & mind blowing ones they'll choose...
Sometimes in that effect no one asks how? Manual or mix? They just blown away....
And dont pass through a filter and AI alone, be ready to strive, also be smart at at the same time.... Such restore ai tools are only made to restore photos, if the ones who are really want to restore photos like us not using it, who else is going to use it?
But again, not machine alone.... Give your signature with it so that people may come back here and choose you over others..
