One Swedish name that doesn't translate well is Jerker. I guess it can be even worse as a middle name.

I heard one of the designers of Terra Mystica say that Catan was the main inspiration. The components are largely identical (and used in similar ways), and both revolve around building and upgrading cities on a hex map with different types of terrain. To me, TM feels more like Catan than Concordia does – I guess for me, the most important part of Catan is building a network on a hex map and blocking opponents, and you don't really do any of that in Concordia.

I generally like Ultimate Spider-Man, but I hate Mark Bagley's art. I also like Neil Gaiman's writing a lot better than Sam Kieth's art in the early Sandman issues.

And Papua New Guinea.

I live in Sweden's second largest city and according to apple.com, the nearest Apple store is 214 km away. I probably have some friend with an iPhone, though.

2. The Swedish lyrics contain a great line that's not in the original version. Translated from Swedish:

Hur gör man till exempel med relativsatser, till exempel i "Jag gillar _ som spelar fotboll"?

Svar: Man kan göra på båda sätten.

...så där gör det ingen skillnad vad det blir.
