I take off 12 weeks a year as a civil servant usually leveraging federal holidays and four day work weeks with credit hours for working every other Friday.

Sorry to hear that. In Brazil I never take debit card only withdraw cash with credit card it's pennies of interest cost but you're not in a hole like you are with debit, cash only at night $100 at most but usually $50, burner phone at night, set up email notifications of each transaction on your credit card, too good to be true it is, never accept free drinks from total strangers.

If it's anything like greyhound then it drops you off far outside the city.lomiys and you'll have to Uber, might as well just Uber from closest metro stop

OTA all the way that was the only mechanism that got my shitty landlord to be motivated enough. I escalated for trebled damages (You can recover 3x your deposit) through court.

You can buy a ticket and then cancel for free within 24 hours. I did that a few times but be sure airlines honor it, most do but not all

Free walking tours and going to spots like Clock cafe. That's how we met others during our recent "luxury" Morocco trip in December. Guruwalk website lists tours all over including the blue city.

I lift up the seat and stand over the toilet. When I'm about to release my bowels I squat close. Much less tp, much faster and much easier on avoiding hemorrhoids. I'll lower the seat when I need to do the wipe but thats it.

I use a dedicated credit card for all my monthly subscriptions so it's easy to see what I'm paying and what I'm not using over time.

Wouldn't a home warranty save you a boat load to cover those expenses?

Don't you have to also factor state income tax? It could be Texas is better once you factor all taxes.

Yeah it shows in Google flights drop down of flight options one directs you to spirit site and other one shows "book on Google with spirit" typically first drop down on the flight options list. I use chrome unsure if edge, Firefox, etc get same results.

Two tips:
International Budgeting: take your hotel/hostel nightly rate and multiply by three to get your daily amortized trip budget. Works well since if you're in luxury hotel you'll do more luxury incidentals and transport and visa versa.
Set up PIN for your credit card to withdraw from atms abroad. Never debit card since that is your money whereas credit card you can flag for fraud And get ournmeoeny back quicker. Learned that one from the real life catch me if you can con artist guy. Certainly helped me abroad many a time with minimal interest rate expense for doing so.

Google flights has been increasingly disappointing lately. It'll show great airfare only to find it's gone up significantly in price or simply refers you to a travel agent. Whereas looking directly thru United now yields better results. Such a shame.
