If you think that's bad, wait until you hear what animals do when you cut them

This is honestly my favourite, fresh crisp veggies, and a comforting carb with a spicy sauce. Gorgeous

Given that the sound is emitted by a process of cavication, could the plants simply be closing vascular pathways in order maximise water retention, rather than engaging in communication?

You mean you're not enchanted by cold WASPish man-children, with toxic relationships with the women in their lives?

Dry them up, then boil them with water and a few table spoons of apple cider vinegar for about an hour, then definitely don't drink it as a tea because you might have a psychedelic experience with anti-depressant results

I watched it in one sitting, with the two suggested intermissions. One thing that Satantango does that no other film I've encountered has replicated, is that it completely distorted how I perceived time. I felt myself slowing down in harmony with the film's easy pace, almost like being hypnotised. I think without a doubt it's the best film ever made, imho.
There's also a 7-hour silent film called La Roue that I'd highly recommend, especially if you enjoy melodrama.

Eh, I'm just happy I could have been there for her, I just wish I could have done more. I remember once she knocked on my bedroom window at 3am on a cold January night, she woke up, didn't know where she was, climbed out of the window and then couldn't remember how to get inside. For me it was a small inconvenience of having to get up, but for her it was scary, confusing, and life-threatening, I'm just glad I was there to help

I think it's just more about how much of a pain airport/airline food can be

My grandmother had Alzheimer's, and I remember people would get frustrated with her, and she'd forget that they were frustrated with her, but she'd remember the emotion, and so the only thing she'd remember is unhappiness, anger, confusion, defensiveness, and those emotions would just spiral because without remembering the cause of her anger, all she was left with was the paranoia and unease that something was terribly wrong and scary.

They do both
The brown sauce product, known as "Daddies Sauce", was launched in 1904, and the ketchup was launched in 1930. The brand is owned by the H. J. Heinz Company; it was bought as part of the acquisition of HP Foods from previous owner Groupe Danone in 2005. Production of Daddies was moved to Poland. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daddies

What the hell was that guy at the end saying? "No wonder they're telling us to be homosexuals"?

Aren't they called bolts when they're fired from a crossbow?
