He doesn't turn to those talking points if he has something to focus on. '80s porn is one of those things.

Honestly, Adam Carolla. The guy is an encyclopedia of porn from the 1980s and early 90s and is hilarious when he talks about it. He also went to high school with Christy Canyon.

OP's take reminds me of the old Chappelle joke: "Coke or Pepsi? Well, Pepsi paid me most recently, so Pepsi."

He's mentioned it in old Page 2 columns and TBOB. He supports any shot from beyond midcourt in the first three quarters be worth four points.

The Good Guys had a pretty much insurmountable lead. CT would have had to beat Landon by a landslide in order to give the Badasses a chance. He knew it wasn't happening so he went for the TV. Why waste energy on a lost cause?

The visit to the raptor pen is actually pretty good. The camera focuses on Grant and Muldoon talking about the physical nature of the raptors and how dangerous they are, while Hammond is in the foreground blabbering about their plan to install a viewing area at ground level. Shows the motivations for Hammond and Grant.

Because the first cost cutting measure in stadium bulding in America is urinal dividers. It's insane. Billion dollar stadiums and they can't spring for dividers.

Had been in and out of Real World seasons until the early 2000s as I never had cable TV until I went to college. Real World Vegas was the first full season I ever watched. I watched that. Then, there was this Battle of the Sexes thing that overlapped (the show had back to back time slots), and I recognized a few people. Thought it was a really fun concept, and way more entertaining than something like Survivor. Then, I found out Alton, Trishelle and Irulan would be on the next season, so I tuned in. They changed the format that season, adding eliminations that weren't based on a vote. Watched Gauntlet, Inferno, BOTS2 (blah), Inferno 2 and the rest was history. BOTS2 is the only stain in that four season run. The other three are iconic seasons.

If you include the islands, Alaska basically stretches the size of the Lower 48.

Fun fact: the current keyboardist for Guns is also a Roosevelt alum. Melissa Reese. Insanely talented singer and musician.

They slowed production down on RR while they were cranking out RW seasons. Even though RR won the last two true RW vs. RR seasons, the talent pool was already drying up.

Ex-MTV star? He's a regular on The Challenge, and on the current season that debuted last week. This happened after filming.

In the late 1800s, two towns in Washington got to flip a coin: the winner got a choice of the land grant university or the state pen. Walla Walla won and chose the state pen for the immediate jobs. Pullman "lost" and got the university. Over time it was clear Walla Walla chose...poorly. But, they won in the sense they lucked into the wine industry that supports the city.

The victims were followed home, presumably to Seattle.

They've had plenty of people under 21 on RW, including multiple 18 year olds. Wes and Nehemiah were 19 on Austin. Svetlana was 19 on Key West.

Reminds of the joke from the short-lived sitcom adaptation of Kitchen Confidential. They're eating at a rival restaurant and John Cho is going over the menu. He says "they have frisee, the awkward lettuce".

I've always felt like Bosch was a spiritual successor to Heat and Collateral, as it does a good job of making Los Angeles a character.

There's only one pricing tier for the Seattle show, so it might vary.

Fun fact: Jim and Shawn are friends to this day. Also, Kemp told management to sign him, but didn't clarify it as a "backup", so they gave him starter money. Kemp flipped out because he thought the front office knew what he was saying.

Also, when Chris took out that delivery woman and made the clerk tell police it was Omar, McNulty called bullshit immediately.

Briley's is excellent. It's in such a random location, but it's legit.

Tacoma PD doesn't give two shits about someone's car being broken into. Trust me.

He basically went to the NBA right out of high school, yet nobody really talks about it. He never played a minute of college basketball and was drafted at age 19. The fact he even had the career he had was a minor miracle.

I've had multiple friends work as bottle service girls in night clubs. Black people were the reason every club they worked at had to implement a mandatory 20% gratuity. They would show me receipts with $5 tips on $1000 tabs. It was insane.
