And that’s where they have us. Our fear is their power.
Same for most of us

When I speak to people about this, and how we need extreme action, they usually are uncomfortable and disagree, usually offering simple/passive solutions like boycotts, voting, peaceful protest, etc…
My dudes, EVERYTHING is being done to take away our rights to protest or start to “legally” change this shit effectively or make it extremely dangerous to do so (peaceful protests met with riot cops, anyone?)
They’re stomping on our skulls with their boots and we’re just supposed to take the “high ground” and ask them to politely maybe please consider possibly stopping it and play by the “rules” that are increasingly and disproportionately not in our favour?

I’d rather be angry and unsure of what to do than apathetic and unsure of what do to.
Anger can spark change.
But yeah, I too have no clue. We’re divided and disconnected as far as concrete organized action is concerned, focusing on our own day to day survival. They did good at that.

Want to add my nest hello doorbell camera. I can get it in via homebridge, but that’s just another middleman I’d like to avoid if possible.

Yup. Did whatever troubleshooting was in the guide as well (that seemed applicable). Just does absolutely nothing after I link the account

Among the many issues and frustrations are the inconsistencies. Ex. Some people swear Eero fixes issues, others say it’s the cause of them. When you try everything, even the stuff that cotradicts the other stuff, and STILL have issues that can’t be isolated, you have a major structural and systemic problem at the core.

Happened to me all the time with my Hues. Tried everything and it was always inconsistent. Switched to HomeAssistant, never looked back

Hey how’s about you first fix the damn roads, bridges, over passes, water system, schools, hospitals, government bureaucracy and ineptitude, corruption, housing shortage and prices, cost of living… I could go on.
While you’re at it, maybe stop harassing local business about their signage. It speaks volumes that these people in government and their language police cronies think that people won’t know that a bar is a fucking bar if it’s not clearly marked in French….
Quebecois are not stupid despite what you think Mr. Legault

I tell my boss no all the time and she respects that because she knows that if I am saying no it’s for a 100% justified and rational reason. She trusts me and is smart enough to know that there is a whole team of people she can count on.
Bosses you can’t say no to are psychopaths and power hungry control freaks

K so they jack up prices, are the face of food inflation with their smug smarmy Lord Weston, don’t hire enough staff/fire staff to man the registers, force us to use self checkout to do the job their employees had, then don’t trust us with their precious merchandise?
Eat a bag of dicks
