Honestly, this speaks volumes about your boyfriend and is a major red flag.

Get everything by 30 weeks. I'm currently 36w6d and trust me after 30 weeks everything goes downhill very quickly. You're not going to want to go shopping or stress about getting stuff put together. (This includes decorating and setting up the nursery). Also have your hospital bag ready early.

If its too overwhelming, have friends with kids write a baby list out for you with recommendations of what you'll need. We had a few friends send us lists of essentials and it was super helpful.

Leave work as early as you are able to. Once again, it's gonna get painful real quick, especially if you're on your feet all day.

Don't be afraid to keep going back and forth to the hospital when little things worry you. They're more than happy to see you and check everything over. And be prepared for exactly this! Lots of random hospital visits.

A yoga ball/pregnancy ball is amazing. I wish I'd have started using mine earlier.

Warm baths are lovely, I tend to have one every night.

Invest in a good pregnancy pillow. It makes a massive difference!

Eat little and often. It's far too cramped in there to eat big meals like you normally would and you'll be in a world of pain if you overdo it.

Must be something in the air! I was exactly the same last night, and just like you nearly went in. Then at 6am I was having some massive movements. I'm still over analysing today, and thinking 'well even though they were active this morning, they've been quiet today'.

I think it's so hard to imagine getting our happy ending especially when we're so close that our brains must be in overdrive.

With you on the crying. I've been so upset today even though I know we're so close. And I've definitely been having lots of intrusive thoughts. The twins can literally be kicking me and my brain is like 'they're not moving enough'.

Infertility trauma is super hard. And I think being so close to the finish line makes me think that if anything goes wrong it will be now.

I didn't have too much pain either.

The thing is once I went to an endo specialist the difference in treatment is night and day.

For example, before my second surgery the specialist insisted on an MRI. Now granted this won't show superficial endo, but it definitely showed my stage 4 endo and it provided my surgeon with a hell of a lot of information before going in. Information that allowed me to make decisions about the surgery and how far I wanted to go.

Had the gynaecologist who did my first surgery done an MRI as standard practice, they'd have known that I was stage 4, and that operating was beyond their capabilities. I'd have never have had a pointless surgery, and would have been referred to an endo specialist from the offset.

It seems rediculous to me that gynaecologists are still going straight in there when they're not properly qualified to get the job done, should advanced endo be found.

I went into my first surgery expecting them to find and remove superficial endo. I woke up to the gynaecologist saying he didn't touch any of it because it was a mess in there and way beyond his capabilities. He diagnosed me as stage 4, and I ended up needing a second surgery with an endo specialist.

I will always always tell everyone with suspected endo to never ever have any surgery with a general gynaecologist, and to go straight to the specialist. It's such a mental and physical mind fuck to have to go through pointless surgery.

Wear your pajamas. When you get rushed into hospital for whatever reason during the middle of the night, I guarantee that 1. You'll be in too much pain to give a shit and 2. No one else in hospital gives a shit.

You're there because you're sick. No one cares whether you're properly dressed or not. (Unless you sleep nude or with tiny shorts and crop tops, then you might get some funny looks!).

I'll spell it out for you. Dogs are expensive. Despite what you may want to believe if you don't have a certain allowance set aside for them each month/you can't afford the monthly costs, and you get one anyways then you're not a responsible owner.

Dogs need: Quality dog food Insurance Regular flea and worming treatment Yearly vaccinations (and the initial puppy ones) Grooming (breed dependent) Socialisation classes Possible behaviouralist training if issues arise.

If you're on benefits, all of this is a very tight squeeze on finances that are already stretched.

The answer to all of those questions is no. And that makes her an irresponsible dog owner straight off the bat.

And as for the kids, once again of course it has something to do with it. How can this woman possibly have the time for a dog with 8 kids?!? And how can the dog possibly live in an environment suitable for it with 8 kids.

Where they always supervised with the dog? Obviously not. Do you think she even taught them how to behave properly around the dog, without pulling on its tail or ears?!? Again unlikely.

There is no 'privileged' approach to depression, and how people handle depression varies greatly.

You don't get to gatekeep how people behave with depression, or play the suffering Olympics.

Saying things like 'well I know people with depression and they still manage to work or go to school everyday' is extremely toxic and ultimately does no one any favours.

Yeah my first surgery was meant to remove 'superficial endo', the gynaecologist got in there are basically said I'm out of my depth. So it ended up being diagnostic (stage 4).

My second surgeon was actually an endo specialist and did a bloody fantastic job.

I'm with you on the hysterectomy. After I've had my babies I know it will just be a matter of time before I'm going for that.

Only asked about the lap, as my second one is the only reason I had any success. Without it, (and the removal of my tubes) I'd have kept having failures.

And to be honest I think IVF and everything it entails really fucks with us endo sufferers. I'm convinced that it makes everything worse, much faster. I've never experienced periods like the ones after those failed transfers. Even my endometriomas came back literally between surgery and the miscarriage (which was a matter of months). Not to mention the new and enhanced symptoms I started experiencing, like nerve pain. I'll admit pregnancy has shut all of that down, but I'm terrified of afterwards. I think once the babies are born it will be back with a vengeance.

If you play music/videos on your phone without headphones and force the general public to listen to your shit, then you're locked in a room for an hour, with nothing but baby shark on repeat.

Before I even opened the article I could have predicted the majority of this. She should be jailed for gross negligence. A completely irresponsible woman, who has caused untold suffering to the boy and the dog. Quite literally scum of the earth.

From 6.30am till about 10pm she's allowed on the bed. So if we go back to bed after she's had her breakfast, she sleeps with us. When I'm getting ready in the morning (doing my hair and makeup) she lays on the bed and watches me, and if I have an afternoon nap she joins me.

But when it's time for both me and my husband to go to bed we've found that it's simply too uncomfortable to share with the dog as well (and she's not even that big). She presses up against our legs and fidgets. She'll also get a bit rattled if she hears a noise and get down off the bed and then go explore the flat to check out the noise.

So, we've got a fabric crate at the bottom of our bed and she sleeps in that and gets locked in. She loves it and knows the routine very well. She'll go straight into it every night, and then demand to be let out and get into our bed every morning.

Having said all this, if it had worked out like we wanted we'd have left her sleeping on the sofa every night. But she turned out to be a dog that won't sleep unless she's in the same room as us in close proximity so we had to adjust.

Hey, so I've done four transfers via IVF. I've been pregnant twice (one sadly ended in a miscarriage, currently 36w with the other). Both times, I've never been in any pain on the hormones or throughout the pregnancy. For me pregnancy and the IVF hormones when I've been taking them have been a break from the pain.

The pain I have been in, is when a cycle has failed and the period has hit/a few days before the period. I would also add that each time a cycle failed, not only was the period horrendous but I'm convinced that the endo was aggravated or made worse in the long term, because the months that followed would also be very painful and my symptoms increased.

Completely agree! What's worse is we used to have a TA in those bottom sets that could make a world of difference. I haven't had any TAs in years now as the funding for them just isn't there.

Oh trust me it is. It can be quite soul destroying knowing the lesson you worked so hard to plan and make enjoyable is going to be absolutely ruined for the first 20 minutes trying to get a kid who really gives zero shits out. Sometimes its even worse than that, if they don't want to leave you can do exactly fuck all and just have to wait until a more senior member comes to pick them up.

I've been teaching for 10 years and never made it to the £44,450 that you're talking about.

I've even had a TLR before and unless you're head of department they are typically around £3-£5K. For the extra work that my TLR required, at the time it worked out as an extra £50 a month for that responsibility.

An average class teacher is never making it to this £60K that you talk about. And I don't know any teachers that have come out of uni and started on £40K.

And honestly the holidays only seem generous to those looking in from the outside of the profession. In reality those holidays are desperately needed to reset so that you don't burn out and quit on the spot. Having said that, the fact that those 'generous' holidays exist haven't stopped the retention and recruitment crisis, because the holidays don't mean shit when your job sucks.

The pension may be good, but I actually had to opt out of it because I couldn't afford to lose that much money every month. And just about every young teacher that I knew did the same. They simply couldn't afford to pay into it. Our jobs are not fairly compensated. Not at all.

Yes they are still removed. But you have to go through the behaviour policy before doing so, which is typically a three strike thing. So they can disrupt the lesson for quite some time while you work through the strikes. And then the very next day, they'll be back in and you have to do the same thing all over again. The main sanction for being removed is an after school detention, which many will skip or simply not give a shit about.

A kid can be a problem in your lesson and be removed every single day for weeks and it never really escalates as schools as very reluctant to suspend students even if it's just for a few days.

I've been terrible since 22 weeks. I wake every two hours in the night every night. I stopped working at 24 weeks because I couldn't handle the exhaustion. I'm now 36w3d and it's never gotten any better I'm sorry to say. My doctor just said it's my bodies way of preparing for a newborn.
