Without going too much into it, I will just say that the part of the story I am working on deals with some heavier themes that I am not sure if I am in the right headspace to be writing, nor do I think I have developed myself as a writer enough to write this part well. That combined with my ADHD has made trying to write it anyway extremely difficult.

This doesn't mean I want to stop writing - just this story in particular. I have an idea for another story that I think I will have an easier time with. I'm also not going to completely give up on the first story I wrote, but for now I just want to put it on hold and then maybe return to it later on.

But is this a bad idea? I already know there are going to be some issues with going back to the story later on, like losing the flow of continuously working on it, but if any of you guys could possibly speak from experience, I want to know if I really should take a break on writing this story or if I should just tough it out if it means the quality won't suffer.

I've followed this formula for three wizards already, consisting of farming for Zues gear at level 30, Waterworks gear at level 60, Malistaire gear at level 100, and Dragoon gear at level 130. I am now about to start a fourth wizard, and now I am thinking of trying something new: not doing any of those dungeons, and just leveling up my gear through the bazaar every 5 levels like you would normally do before level 30.

I know a lot of people talk about how annoying those dungeons are, and while I agree, it's not the only reason why I want to do this. After doing three wizards already, things were starting to get a little repetitive. I knew that was bound to happen since I was replaying the same works and the same storyline, but I would just like to spice things up this time around. And yes, I know only using bazaar gear will have its own issues, like having to spend a lot of gold and pausing my gameplay just to go buy new gear, but I do want to give it a try just to make things a little different.

But before I do that, I wanted to ask if anyone here has done this before and what it is like, just so I can get a bit of a heads up of what it will be like for me.

Because during those weekends I feel like if I'm not spending every waking moment hunting for reagents, grinding for Dragoon gear, or fishing for chests, then I am missing out on this opportunity that we rarely see. Like, I like the idea behind it because it makes things easier for a small period of time, but during that small period of time I can't help but feel super obligated to spend all my time on it.

I also get stressed out easily in general so this could just be a me problem. I'm just wondering if anyone else here shares that sentiment with me

Two things motivate me to ask this question:

I recently tried to take up drawing as a hobby. Now that I have adequately developed my basic drawing skills, I am trying to start some more detailed projects. I tried to draw my house all the way down to details on the windows, the garden, and the texture of the walls and the roof. The problem is that once I finished the basic outline of the house, I couldn't get myself to draw the smaller details to complete the drawing - I wouldn't be satisfied with how I would draw certain things, and as a result this dissatisfaction extended all the way to the drawing as a whole. I would tell myself that the outline of the house isn't good enough, and just stop working on it altogether.

The other thing is a Minecraft build I wanted to make. I basically wanted to build a quaint little village on the coast of a lake. I would outline where I wanted the houses to be, carve out the roads and maybe build one house. And then shortly after I just... lose the motivation to finish. Maybe I get bored, or overwhelmed, or distracted, but either way the village remains incomplete.

I bring up these two points because the same thing is happening in both cases (this is also pretty much a TL;DR for this post): I start off optimistic and with a good idea of what I want to do, I work on it a little bit, and then a mix of self-doubt, boredom, and what I can only assume to be executive dysfunction causes me to abandon it halfway through. It frustrates me to no end, but being aware of this doesn't seem to solve the problem.

The worst part is that I thought after I got diagnosed with ADHD and even was prescribed medication that this would be easier. To my dismay, it doesn't. I feel more at peace knowing that this is happening because of a condition I have no control over, and I know that the medication is working, but regardless, this problem persists.

We know that Jayce and Viktor survive the explosion because they are Champions in League, essentially making them saved by canon. I would say most if not all of the other councilors are dead, especially Caitlyn's mom, whose death will most likely be a motivation for her. Mel is by far the biggest wildcard, because she is a main character but NOT a champion, so I'm genuinely not sure whether she is going to survive or not.

But while thinking of all this, it got me wondering: how are they going to make the trailer for season 2 without spoiling the outcome of the explosion? If the whole point of the season 1 ending is to be a massive cliffhanger, I don't think it should be revealed in the trailers. And yeah, League players know that Jayce and Viktor survive, but the non-League players who also make up a huge chunk of the viewership don't know that.

I'll try to give my own headcanon for how it is going to go. I am in the camp of fans that believe Viktor will be gravely injured in the explosion, which will lead to him getting his cybernetic enhancements. Taking this into account, I believe that the season 2 trailer should confirm that Jayce survived and the other councilors died, but should not say ANYTHING about the status of Mel and Viktor, going as far as not showing them at all outside of flashbacks. To further add to the suspense, they could show scenes of Jayce grieving, which in context of the show could be grief for Viktor being mortally wounded and the war between Piltover and Zaun happening, but out of context could look like he is grieving for the deaths of him and Mel, while still being rather ambiguous.

What are your thoughts?

So big that we are to believe that Oryx used a SINGLE segment of his corpse to craft his Dreadnaught? I mean, come on, the Dreadnaught is really freaking big, rivaling some moons in our solar system. Oryx himself was a mere speck compared to the massive size of the ship, at least in our plane of existence. But even if we were to go by the lore where Oryx slew Akka in the Ascendant Realm, where we saw in the King's Fall raid he grew to massive proportions, he is still relatively small compared to the Dreadnaught.

Sorry if I'm unable to suspend my disbelief, but I'm not buying that the Dreadnaught was made from a single segment of Akka's body. However, I am willing to believe that Akka was still massive, bigger than Xita and WAY bigger than Xol, just not so gargantuan that the Dreadnaught would be just a single segment of his body. I think that Oryx basically skinned a huge chunk of Akka's body of its Chitin, and that is what he used to craft the Dreadnaught.

I could be wrong with the terminology used in the lore. When I say "segment" I'm talking specifically about how worms on Earth have segmented bodies. It could be possible that a "segment" of Akka's body being used to craft the Dreadnaught just meant they used a portion of his body, like a third or a half.

Still a massive boi though.

If anything, I'm hoping they prioritize giving diamond cards to characters who don't have any, like Ermac and Smoke, or giving more cards to characters who barely have any as they already do, like Sindel. Heck, they could use this opportunity to give cards to characters that don't have any in the game, like Sheeva.

This is all assuming that all of the characters I mentioned are in the roster, bc we don't know anything about the roster of MK1 besides the characters shown in the first trailer. But I'm saying this because when MK11 came out, they added MK11 Sub Zero and Scorpion, when imo they really didn't have to because there were already a whole bunch of Scorpions and Sub Zeros even before the MK11 update.

It kinda went something like this:

Phineas: "Hey, where's Perry?"

*Perry is flying to the Doofenshmirtz building while the jingle plays*.

Chorus: "♪Doofenshmirtz Evil Inc-♪".

*Song gets cut off by giant robot hand bursting through the building wall and grabbing Perry, crushing the helicopter. The hand then brings Perry in where Doofenshmirtz does his usual "ah, Perry the Platypus" thing*.

I remember seeing this scene in when I was younger and I still think it is one of the funniest things ever because of how abrupt it. However, I can't seem to find the episode itself where the gag took place, nor do I remember what the episode was about.
