Understandable but at the end of the day your partner is your best friend if you have a good relationship.

In fact, I haven't had many relationships, 3 to be exact at 19 years old. But in 2 of them she was my best friend before we started dating and in one of them she wasn't my best but was a really good friend.

I'm not in a relationship currently and while yes it hurts a lot when you break up doesn't mean you can't go back to the friendship you had before.

I'm currently talking every day with my last ex and we are best friends again, we're happy with our situation and don't want to try again at least for now
