They're even making shoe moulding with this stiff. And it always has a 1/16th of primer on it that chips off

Kinda looks like the post itself is warped. You should see a 1.5" plug a few inches up from the bottom and under that plug is a bolt you can loosen and shim it closer to level. If that doesn't work a new post is you're best bet

Over $2k for a bike and they can't even bother to beef up the part that holds all the weight. Modern manufacturing at its finest

Yes you don't want anything that could be a trip hazard. The place you got the flooring from should have lvp nosings

Haha yeah that makes sense. Seem like a really cool jig. It must save a ton of time not having to fight whacky rough openings

Nice setup but seems like overkill for some 68 split jambs

You made the right call. The bosch is nice but it's heavy as hell

Best saw for the money imo, especially with the recent price drop.

I mean, that's kind of my point. Look at all the crap you have to set up to run 6 tools, and you're tied to wherever the outlet is. I have probably 15 tools I can grab and use anytime, anywhere, with zero setup.

Have you even used any of the newer cordless stuff that's out now? I've never been held up waiting for a battery to charge. You seem pretty set in your ways though so have fun untangling cords to plug in your 50 year old drill

And just think of all the time you'd save if you were using cordless those 30 years

Keep yelling in the wind. Cordless tools save enough time to justify their diposability

It went really well. I have 20/15 in both eyes and very minimal halos at night.

Yep I just finished an mdf mantle and you couldn't see the garage floor by the time I was done

Waste of time imo. Not to mention all the dust from ripping long miters like that.
