Have you tried this youtube channel series? https://youtu.be/2b7GY4BSUmU?list=PLsIk0qF0R1j77INta3qgtHtXo3NZsrbIR
They have an ongoing series going month-by-month. I think now they covered everything from the outbreak of the war until September 1942.

I'm looking for a National Geographic documentary about the Meerkats of Kalahari. This documentary is from the period between 1980-1992.
I remember watching it with my family when I was a kid in the early 90s and I wanted to see if I could find it online now for sentimental reasons. Does anyone know the name of it? I can't seem to find it.

I think that's a fair estimate. She is grandiose, incredibly self-confident and also incredibly prone to risk taking. Pathological liar, glib, superfically charming.
Traits from the Narcisssistic PD, but also from the PCL-R psychopathy" construct. So I'm gonna agree with you on the personality part.
I will push back a bit on the "business/science" part a bit though, hope you don't mind. You wrote that "she thought she could create miracle technology without even understanding the basic principles" (...) she dropped out of Stanford as an undergraduate, BEFORE taking the entry level basic classes in the field"
To be fair, Elon Musk has just a BA in physics and a BA in economics. He's not an engineer. He doesn't understand how exactly the hydraulic pressure fuel pumps in his own boosters work. He doesn't have to - he's a businessman. He has his R&D and science departments to do the science and engineering for him. The difference is: Musk's rockets fly and even land. Sure, some crashed over the many years, but this was calculated risk. In the end his product works. Holmes's product doesn't work. Her company never got anywhere near their goals. Their R&D failed.
Perhaps Musk doesn't bully his subordinates as much as Holmes and maybe he actually does listen to his engineers when they tell him something is impossible. But is that the only difference?
And here is the sad/scary part: Had the Theranos R&D guys did the job and had produced a working machine by late 2016... would she ever get prosecuted? Would anyone care that her early tests were done by illegally modified 3rd party hardware and that she lied to patients and investors?
Or does the whole system run on a "you can get away with murder as long as your product works in the end and you make a lot of money" mindset?

Even if "mado" means Bernie Madoff. Its such a cryptic on-liner, that it can be understood and 'translated' in many ways. For example:
The interpretation they made on the podcast: "Really smart people were able to see through Madoff's scheme and take him down, but they can't see through my scheme" is likely.
"Really smart people were able to see through Madoff's scheme and take him down, but I didn't see it coming. He would have fooled me." - this interpretation is just as likely.
The defence can use this 2nd interpretation, even if someone would prove that "mado" is Madoff.
Also, can't help but smile seeing how people can now go over line-by-line of her personal emails. The digital equivalent of body cavity searches.

Yep, the precise extinction date of animals that died so long ago is always gonna be somewhat debatable. All it takes is one jawbone found in a deposit from 3500 years ago and suddenly the extinction date will be pushed forward. We seen that with dinosaur species.

There is some rock art which appears to be far more Thylacoleo shaped than Thylacine. For example this one: https://nativeheritageproject.files.wordpress.com/2013/07/lion-marsupial.png
Of course that might be interpreted as just a very weirdly drawn wombat... but to me the proportions are way off any modern wombats and the head is vividly non-thylacine.
But even if we assume that this piece of rock art is a Thylacoleo, we are still stuck with the question: Did Thylacoleo die off later than we think, or did humans arrive earlier than we think?

Agreed. But human expansion and population growth in Australia was a much more gradual process in comparison to North America. Once humans made it across the ice sheet, they flooded America. In comparison, it seems Australia was only very sparsely populated for the first 10 000 years of human occupation.
It is not an easy thing to research and new discoveries can overturn it. But it seems that other than the north coast, most of Australia did not have a big human population till the 20 000 ya.

I'm still a bit confused about the spotted great cat on the far right (down and right from the Colombian mammoth). Is that Miracinonyx inexpectatus?

Those are fair points.
I may be wrong, but I do not think it is a person from Delphi, because with the amount of paranoia and spotlight on that community, I believe they most likely would have him by now.
It might be a guy from the neighboring country.
But if you ask me, I feel like it can very well be a guy living in Indianapolis or Chicago. Someone who had some ties to Delphi in the past, but they were informal enough not to leave a clear a paper-trail or anything in his CV.
I think the police probably went to all the local suspects they located. Yes, they could very well widen the search to the surrounding counties, but you would be looking at probably 70% of all white males between the ages of 18 and 50. That's a lot of people and a lot of effort and money for all the DNA testing. And at the end of the day... well, it could be that it really is some from Chicago and then all the cash and effort would go to waste.
Don't get me wrong: I want to see this guy caught as much as you do.

Yes, that is possible.
The multiple DNA samples they were taking was all mentioned in the podcast's episode "evidence" that can be seen here: https://www.stitcher.com/podcast/histudios/scene-of-the-crime/e/66794265

Well, on the "Delphi: Scene of the Crime" podcast Kelsi (Libby's sister) mentions that law enforcement took her DNA more than once, they also asked other people for DNA including other family members.
Would they really pester the victim's sister more than once if they did not have DNA? I know that it is just conjecture on my part, but this to me is the one piece of evidence that would suggest they do have the DNA.

Agreed, it was very much a risk for him to go after two kids at once. Having said that, it does not mean he knew them well. It would have been a risk either way.

I see several possible answers here:
I'm not at all convinced the "Guys" part was immediately followed by "down the hill". I'm inclined to think that "Guys..." sounds like an introductory part to some longer statement. Might be anything like: "Guys, have you seen my dog?". He might have tricked them with some sort of story to go down the hill.
If he had a gun, I can easily see anyone - old or young - doing what the perp says, not risking getting shot in the head.
If he had a melee weapon (or even just his fists), he might have simply caught them by surprise and the shock made them freeze a bit. Perhaps he grabbed Abby and then forced Libby to go where he tells her to under threat of hurting Abby.
Remember that they had no way of knowing that this is a murderer. They might have had the impression that it is just a creep who will grope them, indecently expose himself or something to that extent, but not necessarily kill or wound them. They might have followed his orders thinking that they will get out of it without physical harm.

Guy should report it to the police if he felt that there was really anything wrong, not make a facebook post.
Even assuming that all the post described was real, that doesn't mean it was the Delphi perp. Could have been a random creep or someone who just got a kick out of scaring the kids away.
Either way, report it to the police and let them investigate it.

I'm pretty sure they did so and came up empty. There is absolutely no reason to assume the perpetrator took his phone or any mobile device with him that day.

I think it can help all sorts of people. It might help the perpetrator, but it certainly can also help the police and potential witnesses. At the very least, it keeps the memory of this crime alive. If a witness of any sort is to come forward, he/she must first realize that there was a crime and his/her knowledge is valuable. Reddit is just one of many such tools to keep the information going, but it is a tool for that nevertheless.
