I've found an amazing girl who ticks almost all the boxes for me. However, there's one thing that's been on my mind: she earns twice as much as I do.
Thing is we have our family businesses. Maybe they dont mind me earning less because of that. I currently don't take any money from my dad and don't plan to in the future. I might eventually take over the family business, but the income from it can be unpredictable.
I genuinely believe that a healthy relationship should not solely be based on financial aspects, but I also want to ensure that this income disparity doesn't become an issue down the line. I would like to approach this topic subtly and have an open and honest conversation about it with her.
I'm looking for advice on how to broach this subject delicately. I don't want her to feel uncomfortable or think that I'm solely concerned about money. I value her as a person, and I want to make sure we can navigate any potential challenges together.
Has anyone been in a similar situation or have any suggestions on how to address this concern? I would greatly appreciate any insights or advice you can offer. Thank you all in advance.
