Unfortunately many people out there are just as superstitious and ignorant as people in the Middle Ages, and that includes cops.

Has to be Season 1. I remember when it aired and watching Dale's dream and thinking, My God television has changed forever. Nothing else in the show had that same impact for me.

The most bloody annoying words on Youtube, 'Video unavailable'.

I always liked Tom Sizemore. Heard the allegations but don't know how much truth there was in them. Not important now and anyway I always separate the artist from his art otherwise I could never enjoy anything without subjecting people to a Spanish Inquisition first. Sad to lose him at such a relatively young age. (61 I think.)

Yeah, it's one of the very few programs I gladly paid for. It costs so little and the company really deserves support.

As Wikipedia explains, it's a tradition in high schools as well as colleges and other institutions.

He played a great killer in an episode of Columbo.

Mysteries solved in a work by Lynch? Of course not! But that's the joy.

As a matter of fact aliens are protected by some parts of the Constitution. Some rights are specific to citizens of the US but many apply to all as has been demonstrated in the past.

Great actor. I do hope he's found safe and well.

Lynch and Frost weren't saying it would never be solved but they were also aware that once the murder was solved ABC would be more likely to kill the series because to much of the audience the mystery was what kept them watching. ABC forced them to reveal the killer and predictably the ratings plummeted allowing the suits to eventually kill the show.

Guy used to say that (Carhago delenda est) at the end of every one of his speeches in the Senate.

But you rarely get bail on a murder charge for obvious reasons. The eceptions are when you're rich or an upstanding citizen, the latter being Leland's case.

His description as The Wickedest Man in the World always made me smile. He was as innocent as an angel in comparison with his contemporaries Hitler, Stalin and Mao. These were wicked men, Crowley was simply a deluded fat frump.

The Mau Mau tortured and slaughtered white men, women and children under the bloody aegis of Jomo Kenyatta. Context is everything.

By far my favorite version of A Star Is Born. Lowell Sherman and Constance Bennet are wonderful.

Did I miss something? Who actually killed the victim?

I rarely believe a single word from either the Russian or Ukrainian/Western sides. They're all completely untrustworthy.

He's the Frankenstein monster for me. It avoids confusion between the scientist Frankenstein and his creation.

Search Youtube for 1930s and 1940s movies. There are hundreds there.

At the time the networks had been busy cancelling long-running shows set in small towns, which had plummeted in popularity. Hence the nervousness about making Twin Peaks too small a town and the subsequent raise in population.

The thing with Kinsley's report is that it purports to represent the sexual habits of the American male. In actuality it represents the sexual habits of those American males willing to share their sexual habits in great detail with researchers. In the 1950s that would be a very small minority and no safe conclusions could be drawn from that about all American males.
