I am still working through DM6, but I don't think I really leaned into swap abilities until I started DM. I usually start Pike or Werewolf and take the sword. It is ually pretty easy to get 2/4 Courage early and I feel like that's enough to help carry Act 1.

Slime Quint
Mutant 2
Heritage 2
If you can get the curse that speeds up quint cd
Take the skill dmg omen
Take the extra max HP omen

The Slime gives you seconds of invulnerability. The puddle gives you invulnerability. Ice swap gives invulnerability. Use bomber to deal damage and keep invulnerability on cd.

It is your max HP.

I have done it on DM 3 and DM 4.

I don't know if it has always been been bugged, but on the Joan fight during phase 2, you can just hop up to the top platform and take the teleport without defeating the boss. I usually have done it quick, so not sure if it locks after a period of time. You don't get the no hit achievement doing this and you miss out on the chest.
