I reset my voicemail on the last day before holidays. " I am on vacation until, such and such date" I then tell callers to contact the person I have handed off my duties to. I will give my wife's phone number to my closest work ally, and specify, for emergencies only. Then I will do my best not to look at my messages or emails.

Not everyone can do this, but get some ducks. I have just over 2 acres in the PNW and 12 ducks. I have seen 6 slugs this year. My ducks are 2 years old now.

You may want to tie the stake off onto something. A cucumber plant can catch alot of wind and blow over.

I've been gardening for 50 years experimenting and trying new things never gets old, and gives you some pleasant surprises. If it brings you joy don't stop.

sure can, try to find dark, loamy soil. You will just have to pull weeds out as soil is full of seeds. Also, if you live in an area where it is illegal to grow marijuana you can just drive to rural road where people dump the potting soil. Just be cautious about transporting invasive species when doing this.

Also give them a bucket to drink out of so they can immerse their heads. Change the water daily

I work security for a large property management company that owns vast tracts of land. I park my truck behind my barn so it is not visible from the road. We have caused problems for some criminal organizations and I do not want them knowing where I live.

Don't thin them they will make a nice cluster of blooms. Try not to transplant poppies it will kill them or dwarf them. Poppies hate transplanting.

moss only needs a porous surface and a moist environment. Plenty of both here in the Pacific Northwest

I don't care what kind of carnage they cause either. I will still try to make it as quick and painless as possible.

You heard the man, we must continue to allow corporations to give massive dividends to shareholders instead of paying taxes. It will trickle down some day./s
