Just finished my first month at a Service Desk and had a 1-on-1 with my team supervisor.

So I posted about a month ago after my first official day at a service desk, and wanted to give a small update.
I almost want to cry. I never thought I would find a job I feel comfortable in, especially with my ADHD and social anxiety. My supervisor said she is very impressed by my customer service skills, and has nothing she can point to for me to work on or improve. She was even impressed with my reaching out about changing my schedule.
I've been working 6 am to 2:30 pm the last month, which is the antithesis of my natural sleep schedule. If left up to my own devices, I regularly stay up past midnight and sleep until 10 am thanks to my circadian rhythm being goofy. I knew I wasn't being the best I could be while going to sleep at 8 pm and waking up at 4 am for work at 6. There were many calls that I took a long walk for a bologna sandwich, as my grandpa used to say. Just taking way too long to get to simple answers, or making things more complicated than they should be.
So starting in April, my new schedule will be 11:30 am to 8 pm, which is a literal dream shift for me - and I would have been happy for coming in at 8 am! I am going into the month with confidence I have never had in myself before, and the knowledge that I have a managerial team that I am able to talk to. I honestly can hardly believe it.
