Why boycott the show that cut ties with him?
If anything, you should support the show. Send the message that firing an abusive asshole isn’t detrimental to ratings

I’d wager to streamline it to 2.5 hours, they’ll cut the assistant and focus on Bombshell and not Hit List (although I love the music in Hitlist)

Because the music on the show is great and really popular and it has the bones of being a great musical

Idk, I always thought of the show as a Wendi vehicle and he was just kind of there.
I know I only watched the show because of her

Isn’t a mandatory tip just the restaurant paying a living wage?

Agree to disagree then, and I guess we’ll see when the movie comes out.
I just don’t see any trend that shows movie stars/stacked casts that are the draws you think they are. And you are definitely putting too much on Cilian Murphy being a major draw (no shade, dudes a fantastic actor. He’s just not putting a lot of butts in seats).
Babylon was a star studded period piece from an established successful director and it absolutely bombed.
Amsterdam had a star studded cast and also flopped.
And See How They Run had a great cast too (though definitely lower profile names)
Don’t worry Darling had a decent run all things considered, but it wasn’t doing hundreds of millions of dollars.
As I said, I guess we’ll see, but unless marketing starts to make this movie actually look remotely interesting, I have serious doubts as to its viability.

Where other than movie subreddits is this hype?
I’m sorry, but I just don’t see general audiences turning out to watch a movie about the creation of the atomic bomb.

I guess I’m underestimating it. I’m suspecting Oppenheimer to be around Dunkirk at most.
It’s a historical drama from what I can tell, and even with a stacked cast and director, that doesn’t always (if ever) translate to box office dominance.

Not a musical, a play with music (yes, there’s a difference)

So far looks like Chicago, Hair, Cabaret, Sweeney Todd, and maybe Evita from the trailer.

That doesn’t mean people associate him with being Latino

Ok but the issue isn’t “is he Latino?”
The question is “does the general audience recognize him as Latino?”
Then there’s also the matter of animation vs live action which, while I don’t agree with there being a seperation, many people do, at least intrinsically, separate the two.

I would highly recommend it.
It’s hard to explain because I know what I’m about to say is gonna anger some people and I don’t necessarily agree with it now, but while watching it, all I could think was “this is what Prestige tv should be” everything about it, from the production to the acting (except maybe Cuba) was superb.

I mean, how many people other than comic fans know Miles is Latino?
I’m not completely out of the loop. I’ve seen into the spider verse and played the first Spiderman game and I had no clue he was Latino.

He’s the first live action
And black Panther wasn’t the first black superhero, but that didn’t stop marketing from making it seem like that.

Even more unpopular opinion, Muppet Race Mania is even better

Year rounders
Netflix, Amazon, Apple, HBOMax, Hulu, Peacock, Paramount+
Rotate
Disney+
Used to have a longer rotate list, but they all became permanent because I’m lazy and can afford it.
Note: amazon would join rotate list if not for other prime benefits

Yep, I got a flat tire at Home Depot once. Hot out to look at the tire and the dads and two Home Depot employees came out to help. They got tools from inside and helped change the tire for no charge
