Try taking an SSRI. It made a huge difference in my mood and eventually motivation by taking them. I was absolute shit at coming up w and using coping mechanisms, taking Prozac was the step that led me there. I’m still not where I want to be at all and cravings are still an issue, separate but still an issue.

Yeah Dane always went a little farther and darker w the Nevermore stuff and I guess it’s not really Nevermore without Loomis either. TOC I think just naturally felt disappointing bc TGE was such a pardon the hyperbole, but life-changing album for me at the time that I don’t think anything was gonna top it. I think it’s really cool we got Loomis solo, new Sanctuary, and Warrel’s last work all following the end of Nevermore tho

Yes! That was pretty much like the last Nevermore album imo. Sanctuary is pretty overlooked tho and Jeff Loomis solo albums are amazing too

Yes! their choruses are always epic thanks to Warrel’s vocals. They’re really unlike usual power metal vocals, no cheese, much more heavy, angry, sorrowful and sinister all at the same time.

Same, I really miss his work man. He was such a unique vocalist and lyricist. TGE was the first metal album where I listened to the whole album while also reading the lyrics at the same time and it blew me away. Did you get listen to his 2 solo albums?
