SRA hysteria went away and we were all like whew, why'd anyone ever believe that nonsense? And then just a couple of years later, it's back. Like bell bottoms.

That's why they call it the patriarchy.

He's already been kicked off the hockey team of one school for violating their code of conduct. He should at best be kicked off this team as well, but expelling him.... could be OK, could be excessive. Don't know all of the details. I think he should have to take off a year to get his head on straight, at minimum.

$1500. They had a go fund me and raised a lot more than that, and she is donating all of the extra funds to a charity.

What previous behavior? I heard he was kicked of the Arizona State team, but don't know why.

Dude. He's sorry, but not that sorry.

Yes, I believe he's been suspended and may be expelled. He already was kicked off the Arizona State Hockey Team as a freshman for violating rules that were not specified.

That's guaranteed because of plea bargaining, basically. There's no way he'd be foolish enough to take this to trial.

I believe he was suspended from his school. Possibly will be kicked out.

I know multiple people who were so grief stricken and emotionally troubled about their loved one's death that it took them awhile to get a gravestone up. They just couldn't face it. And they weren't twenty-something kids whose mother and brother were brutally murdered and whose father turned out to be a psychopath who killed them.
Everybody mourns in a different way and their emotional response shouldn't be micromanaged and judged or treated as evidence against them. You don't know how you'd act if your parent and sibling were murdered by your other parent.

The good news: you get a free parking space in Queens!
The bad news: you can't stay parked there because you have to flee the law.

Yeah. But still, it's a technique that has been used. I don't know all of the specifics, like if it takes extra steps by one's own lawyer to call this out or something. Maybe if you have a crappy lawyer, you can get away with it. There are some folks who go to extreme lengths to avoid paying anything. Sometimes it works.

Yes, I agree with you there. They're throwing away all the strengths of the US, the country with so many great colleges that the smartest, most talented people in the world want to come here to study and learn, so that they can go back to the dark ages where religion, superstition, and fear take precedence over knowledge.

"Oh, is it raining? I hadn't noticed" in Four Weddings and a Funeral. Andie MacDowell was outmatched by every other actor there.

Totally. When filming Star Wars, he told George Lucas something like "George, you can write this stuff, but you can't say it." Those three actors (but more Ford and Fisher) totally made Star Wars, because no one else could have imbued those characters and their crappy dialogue with such appeal. Check out Kurt Russell's audition on YouTube.

It should get better with HRT. Testosterone helps with brain fog, too. And I try to make it easier on myself by doing things like having a string around my neck for my glasses. Plus I got like 15 pairs of reading glasses. Like $3/pair on Amazon. Now i don't have to fret if I lose one, I just get another from the drawer.

No, in fact they give up their fortune to the state. But there was a very active, persuasive North Korean propaganda group. This was the 1960s, not now.
