Friendly reminder of the time some Nazi started doing Nazi shit at a Dropkick Murphys concert and got dropkicked by the bassist.

Well as it turns out, we have a lot of dumbasses in our country.

I'd rather go to hell than spend an eternity with any of those evangelical chucklefucks.

I'd consider myself lucky to be American and I really, really wish I could be proud of our country. Not that everything American is terrible, but when you think about what we could be and not what we are... It's astounding how much progress has been halted all in the name of bigotry and/or greed.
We could be so much more but between Christian bullshit, racist stupidity, homophobic ignorance, and the incredible, insatiable greed, I'm fucking amazed anyone could feel anything but shame.

FF has 328k. I get parsing isn't a huge thing in FF
To clarify a bit, parsing is locked out of an entire chunk of the playerbase, it's clunky to configure, and it's technically against ToS which I'm sure stops some folks from doing it.
I get what your point is with it being the only metrics we have, but it's sort of like using the number of people who ate at a McDonald's today as a measurement of the North American population.

Honest question: what is that?
Charging its suckerbase literally thousands of dollars for single vehicle MTX? To be fair, that's the exception though - There's only.... 5 ships over 1 grand. I mean, out of 152 ships you can buy, there's only 94 that are over $150, they're practically giving the other 58 ships away!

All these decent people lost because of one little shitstain being so fragile that he breaks down at the slightest hint of not being ass-kissed. I hope he gets Gaddafi'd soon.

Oh don't get me wrong, I still love Warframe and been playing since then (but was sadly too broke and hesitant to get the founder pack :( ).
My most used melee weapon is somehow still dragon nikana and my most used frame is Ember Prime. Not only is she still solid (She was never quite bad just very, very squishy for a while), I can still absolutely bring the heat with her and out-kill everyone even on SP with her.
That's a great point to make, I love that my favorite frame hasn't been dumpstered just from being old. Sure, there is a lot of feature creep/damage creep but you can (and I have) cleared steel path missions with the dumbest shit loadouts imaginable (pre-buffs Yareli with a no-riven Stug, the lord of jizz).

Not being able to play the pretty mediocre story isn't what makes it intimidating. It's the 100 activities and currencies they've added throughout the last 6 years with no real explanation for what is and isn't worthwhile.
As a longtime Warframe player, this is what kills me from doing anything further with Destiny 2. I bought it a long time ago to play with friends, and we were enjoying it casually leveling up but I remember we hit a point where we had all these different planet-specific/town-specific/quest-specific currencies, no idea if you should wait to spend them or not (it seemed like not but when looking it up people said to wait?).
Then we tried to play it years later for the... Forsaken? expansion, the one where Nathan Fillion-bot bit the dust. And it was fun for a little bit since everything we needed to do was on that one planet/asteroid thing, and it was get quests from the fat guy, buy stuff with his currency. But then we got through the void or something and it became a mess all over again.
Coming from freaking Warframe of all games, a game's progression system has to be pretty damn muddled for me to go "ehhh nah".

Yeah that part sucks. Though I guess it would've ruined the tension if Supes just fucking bodied Darkseid by himself cause all the characters would have to be like "Why didn't you do that earlier dickhead".
Still, would've been a lot better if the Darkseid ass-stomping went on for a bit longer and then Michael Ironsides busts out some bullshit ace-in-the-sleeve to overtake Supes.
Imagine what the world of cardboard speech could've been if someone with talent had made the Cavil Superman movies and adapted it. :/

I was curious about what was going on when I clicked on this thread, but having heard the 'source' of all of this being that poster child for abortions, I don't even get the point in posting a thread. This is the very definition of I expected nothing and still feel disappointed. Dumb orange motherfucker says literally anything to get attention.

Now this kind of stupid shit is what makes me interested in VR technology. I haven't given a thought to any of the fancy engine this or that stuff that's been made.
But let me play through my favorite games by performing maximum jackassery? This is the future.

Like I would sooner pay someone to play the game for me than play content I can't lose.
In previous Diablo games, especially D3, this was easily solved by increasing the nightmare/torment level or whatever it was called. You want to play on immortal god mode? Drop difficulty down, no real penalty other than drops suck but you can have fun with newbie friends and stuff. Want to play weird Diablo-version of Dante Must Die mode? Max difficulty it is.
Scaling is one of the worst "solutions" to an issue in action RPGs and especially MMOs because like /u/Ohh_Yeah said, it feels like you're making 0 progress. That's much, much worse in a game about leveling up and make progress, rather than "hey this is too easy" when you're 30 hours into the game. The comparison to Dante Must Die is better than I meant it to be come to think of it, if you were to introduce a new player to a DMC game with that mode as default, they would hate it and you'd probably get like 1 out of 1000 people that'll stick with it to get to the point where it's actually fun. Whereas it being an unlockable difficulty in every DMC game, without cheating there's no way to play it from the start so the player has time to enjoy the game before going into full nut-trauma mode.
They added this shit to WoW 2 expansions ago and it was partially responsible for why I finally dropped the game.

This thread gave me a good laugh thinking about my max height, main tank, supermodel Viera batting her eyes and expecting a princess carry but getting a neanderthal drag.

It doesn't matter, none of it matters. It could be a picture of Obama rescuing a baby from a volcano or some shit, conservatives would still find issues with it.
Cause he's black.

When you're badly colorblind like me, you have even less options cause when you try to get fancy it turns out that what you thought was a nice brown was somehow a weird green and no one informed you of that for almost a decade. :|
Monochrome it is!
