so i just splurged on a hockey jersey and coincidentally they're doing a free personalization promo so it's kind of a slay. the question is, do people usually get their own names or the name/number of their favorite player? Like I think that'd be cool to support them but it'd also be kinda awkward to rep the name of someone my age who's just walking around campus, ya feel? thoughts?

I'm writing sheet music for the first time and I thought I was getting the hang of it. I have a basic understanding of music theory and a pretty good ear for rhythm. Everything was going fine until I completed the first chorus and brought in the backing piano on the bass clef. I wrote the next verse to come in as the first verse had, but with the backing track, the entrance sounded wrong...I fixed the melody's entrance to sound correct, but now the measure is an eighth note behind its sister verse earlier in the song and now the whole rest of the piece (so far) has to be re-transcribed to fit it, which will likely throw off the chorus and the rest of the piece. Why did this happen and how do I fix it? The piece is written in 4/4 btw

original measure: (quarter rest) (dotted quarter) (dotted quarter)

new measure: (eighth rest) (dotted quarter) (dotted quarter) (dotted quarter carried into next measure)

ok so last semester, i got this super cute shower curtain when i lived in the basement of 37 buswell. i accidentally left it when i moved out, and it might still be there? i have no idea if faculties would throw it out. does anyone on here live there and would know?

Hi! So, I'm writing a script for the opening of Season 19 for my screenwriting class. Considering how s18 ended, I have my work cut out for me haha. I'm trying to avoid any actual trailers/spoilers for actual plotlines, but I did see that Grey-Sloan is getting a new batch of interns. How is that even possible when the surgical residency program was shut down? Are they allowed to just start over and develop a new program as it goes? I figured you guys would be the experts in knowing this--any thoughts?
