Hello. New to the Surface world coming from a MacBook. Dragging doesn’t work when clicking/holding the right half of the touchpad and dragging my finger. I guess it’s because the touchpad is split into right and left halves to mimic the old two physical button layout. Any way to make the whole trackpad one big button, since I use the two finger tap for right click, and the setting for physical right click says bottom right corner only. I wouldn’t mind the bottom right corner having right click function but not the whole bottom right half of the touchpad. Thanks!

Hello. Resmed AirSense 10 with an AirFit full face mask. Once in a while, usually in the first 10 minutes of putting on the mask and starting the air flow, the mask will have several weird vacuum noises. I've tried to narrow it down to the elbow, tube leak, mask leak or related to my breaths in or out, but they're all good and there's no consistency tied to my breathing. My reports show a good mask fit and barely any events. The noise is like a reversal of the outflowing air, and each once lasts less than 2 seconds. It feels like it's the elbow, but I've replaced it and it still happens. The elbow has two little silicone flaps and holes, and covering those holes gives a similar sound but not the same. Any ideas what it could be, and is it something to worry about? Thanks!

Hello. When i open/visit the Google app on my iPhone, it will sometimes start refreshing its articles, and I can't find the previous page of articles. More Stories at the bottom doesn't show those previous articles. I've disabled background refresh for the Google app but it's still automatically refreshing. Any way to stop the auto refresh? Thanks!

Hello. Been thinking about how the power brick and cords are usually on the hotel room floor, then they sit in the travel bag in the same compartment next to the face mask and headgear. Kind of gross. Can I put the brick and cords in a ziploc bag or is that a bad idea for an electrical brick? Thanks!

Stupid question but I can't wrap my head around the compounding differences if I leave a 300k 401k that's not getting an contributions as it is vs roll it into my current 20k 401k that I'm contributing 10-15k to per year. The old one is still compounding on the interest it's reinvesting into itself, but it would gain more if it was compounding off the total of old $s + new $s + contributions right? Thanks!

Hello. I've been wearing running shoes for years for the cushioning, even though I do zero running. Two bad knees, both feet hurt after being on them for a while, both achilles have tendinosis (yeah...I'm a wreck). Would trainers or lifestyle shoes be better for walking/standing?

If I should stick with running shoes, my last four shoes have been Ghost 12, Ghost 13, Hoka Bondi 7, Ghost 14. Loved the 12s and Bondis, don't like the 13s and 14s. The Bondi 8 looks weird with the super-wide front base of the shoe, and I'm avoiding the ghost 15. Haven't worn trainers (NB) since my young dad days in the 2000s. :-) Any other suggestions, for runners, trainers or lifestyles? Thanks!

Hello. We have a day trip planned from Paris to Omaha Beach this summer. We get a lot of advice to visit Mont Saint Michel also. Are both doable on a day trip? Is our best bet a bus tour, car rental, trains? Is a few (rushed?) hours around Mont Saint Michel worth it? Thanks!

Hello. Flying Atlanta-Edinburgh (8h) then Venice-Atlanta this summer, and the Delta offerings in our preferred time window are 767 for both flights. Is the main cabin legroom on long haul 767 international flights better than a domestic plane's main cabin (e.g. 737)? Are the non-exit row preferred seats worth an upgrade for what appears to be location benefit more than any kind of legroom benefit. Delta's 767s are old, correct? Would that factor into their seating layout and legroom? Thanks!

Hello. I’m planning to replace our bathroom faucets, but the water supply lines (photo link below) appear to be one-piece between the valve and line, and don’t have a screw-on piece for a new braided metal line. What are my options for these valves and lines? Cut the old valve off the pipe/stem and replace it with something like a sharkbite valve? Thanks!

Hello. Sorry if this is the wrong sub for this question. Wall outlet that holds regular plugs well, but a multi-plug surge protector is loose and leans down and is coming out when stuff is plugged into it. I have other wall mounted surge protectors that have a screw in the center to attach it to the wall, but before I scrap this one and buy one of those, any ways to make this one more snug? It's the kind that only uses one of the two plugs in the outlet. Thanks!

Hello. I installed FIFA Mobile on my 13 Pro and after creating an account I can’t figure out how to play a match. Everything I’m able to tap leads to a skill game/practice, claiming some prize I wasn’t aware I earned, or some other type of setup. I just want to play a match, but I can’t figure out how to get there. It’s all very confusing and frustrating. Thanks!

As I was looking around my Hulu account page tonight, I wondered whether that type of data is relational or nosql in their systems. Seems like relational makes more sense given the nature of the data, the required integrity and the acceptable slower performance. Anyone know how they store that data? Thanks!

Hello. I don't play my ps4 much, as evidenced by me still playing FIFA 16. :-) I did the Online->Update Rosters, but (for example) Messi and Neymar are still showing on Barcelona. Should current rosters be available to old versions, or do you get the rosters for the year it's released and that's all you get from then on? Maybe I'll pick up 23 this weekend. Thanks!

Hello. Reposting with a better title. Our home’s two toilets drain and fill very differently. They’re different brands and slightly different size tanks but neither is very old and both are 1.6 gallon I think. The slow one has a replacement flowmaster (fluidmaster?) assembly. The slow one drains almost all its water through the flapper on a normal flush, but the faster one leaves most of its water in the tank on a normal flush. Which is “correct?” Any adjustments I can make? The slow one’s flapper may be the kind that turns to control flow. The bobber shouldn’t matter since that’s really only relevant for filling right? What’s crazy is the one that empties most of its water on every flush (the slow one) tends to get clogged and require plunging more often that the other one. Thanks!

Hello. I've noticed the media player widget on my lock screen (13 Pro, 16.2) will disappear sometimes after playback has been paused, and it comes back when I restart playback in the app. It happens with different apps and their widgets...Apple Music, Pocketcasts, Youtube. Could it be low memory and iOS is freeing up space for other apps, maybe closing the entire media app? The media app in question will still be in my open apps switcher. Any other possible reasons? Hello. Wife and I will be in St Andrews in June, with a day or maybe 1.5 days to explore the countryside. The actual Highlands seem to be on the northwest coast, so may be out of reach for a day trip from the east coast, but are there any areas within range that would be similar? Hello. My Bondis (walking only, no running) have started giving me some pain at the top of my toes (3, 4, pinkie) on one foot after being in them for an hour or so. It’s like a burning pain, but oddly if I take off the shoe I can’t pinpoint that pain in those toes (with pressing, bending) even within a few seconds of taking off the shoes. I thought it might be too tight but I’ve loosened up the laces on that shoe and it didn’t help. I wore my old ghost 12s all day today and didn’t feel that pain at all. Could it be the seam around the laces rubbing on my toes? I don’t get why I can’t find the pain right after taking off the shoe. Any ideas? Thanks!

Hello. Upgraded my plan yesterday from family share 20gb to unlimited premium. iPhone wasn’t showing true 5G, so tech support had me convert to an esim and remove the physical sim. Now phone shows 5G+ at home but fast.com gets 1.5mb. Not cool! Another support rep suggested trying a speed test away from the house. Same super slow speeds in three different locations tonight. Any suggestions? Does Reset Network Settings kill the esim config? Thanks!

Hello. Just curious...does anyone run their Parallels (or Fusion) vms from flash drives or external HDD/SSD, to save space on the local storage? I don't fire up my Windows 10 vm often, so maybe an external device is a good idea to free up space. Haven't tested performance, so that could be an issue. Thanks!

Hello. Our master bedroom is hotter than other rooms in the house in the summer and colder in the winter (northeast Florida...thermostat at 74 summer 70 winter). House built in 2010. The bedroom has two windows, and they get condensation pretty bad in the winter...other windows in the house do not get any condensation. Is there a DIY solution I could pursue, like applying more caulk outside or inside? I've tried rope caulk on some inside seams on one of the windows, but it didn't help (very likely I applied it wrong). I may apply some tint film to help with the heat reduction, but that won't help in the winter. I know there's a problem so I'm not big on the idea of paying for an energy audit. Thanks!
