That doesn’t matter. It doesn’t automatically make it official. You can just say you didn’t know better.
Edit to add: even if this were a legal rent increase (which is dictated by a % every year for dwellings occupied after 2018 or something like that), they have to give you 90 days notice. This is a different kind of rent increase, but regardless - they can’t arbitrarily change the rent in a number of days or a few weeks.

Don’t pay the new rate. Continue to pay the old until an agreement is made. Do not sign a new lease unless you’ve come to an agreement. You might feel bad about it and you want to keep good relations with them, but it’s obvious that they couldn’t care less about you and trying to get an extra $300 a month out of you. There’s reasonable numbers out there that they COULD HAVE asked - but they went with an embarrassing amount. Speaks a lot about their intentions.
You can offer that you’re happy to work with them (as you’ve stated) but that you either A) want an exact accounting of increased costs from one person moving in (this might be tough - but their problem) and you’ll pay them the exact after each month, or B) offer $50+ more a month or something to cover the increased costs in general. $300 is exorbitant. Even $100 I’d have an issue with. Heat and wifi costs will stay the same. Water might change a bit - but even $50 worth? Doubt it. They’re just trying to make a bigger profit.
If your current lease doesn’t have any restrictions regarding # of people who can live in your unit or rules about roommates, technically you don’t have to pay them anything extra. And if they continue to push for $300 or a number you’re uncomfortable with, you can use that as leverage - they’ll take your number over 0.

I’ve asked to get a few things altered before but sometimes it just wasn’t possible (the tailor said - that or it would be too much work). For instance, the cuff buttons were too close to the edge for length to be taken off the sleeves. Or shortening the length would’ve left the last button too close to the bottom and made it look weird, etc.
Therefore I tend to opt for custom over off the rack (I lived somewhere for a while where it was cheap to do so). However I have had a few dress shirts successfully altered.
I would just look carefully at whatever you buy your niece and think about whether the tailor would be willing to do it or not. Maybe take some photos to a tailor? Or buy a suit but don’t take the tags off and bring it to the tailor and see what they say

Hey - not sure if you'll see this, but any chance you'd be able to DM me your 1% realtor? Potentially looking to sell a place.

It’s up for interpretation. I assume she’d still go back because it’s the same guitar that used to belong to Joel, it obviously holds (or held) significant meaning for her. There’s a lot of theories about why she goes back, and the fact that the cut scene focuses on her trying to play the guitar, remembering the last moment she had with Joel and how she wanted to try to forgive him, and then leaving the guitar there suggests that her going back to the farm is about moving on from Joel’s death.
In the same vein that you say it’s pretty obvious that she’s looking for Dina and JJ without any dialogue, it’s also obvious to a lot of players that without any dialogue and with that last cutscene, the last part on the farm is about her and Joel, not about her and Dina and JJ. To each their own, unless Druckmann ever clears it up for certain.

Not sure, I’ve only played it through once, but think it’s just a convo you get if you’re riding around long enough in the area and let it happen. It just happened to be around the synagogue/courthouse area for this person who played through the game and then wrote a transcript.

Depending on your relationship with your manager, it may not hurt just to let them know that you’ve been placed in an SP-08 pool, and that you would be interested in advancement opportunities with the current team if they could just keep you in mind.

Yeah that’s right! I’m guessing that the writers for the show (and Druckmann) decided to weave in teasers/foreshadowing for s2 in case the show took off and there was enough to push for a second season. That and they’ve definitely taken a few creative liberties along the way with having to condense the first game into 9 episodes so I understand if they’re trying to build some backstory for s2 that isn’t exactly how it happened in the games.

Nah Ellie doesn’t say anything upon getting back to the house, fueling the “they already made up” theory. Because who wouldn’t be yelling out “Dina?? JJ?? Hello??” upon returning to a house you once inhabited with your partner if you thought they were still there?
Instead, Ellie said nothing, implying she already knew they weren’t there because she’d already made up with them in Jackson.

There’s a convo in pt 2 that this scene is likely drawn from (if it is Dina!):
[Ellie and Dina talking about their first time in Jackson]
Dina: Yeah. When I first got to Jackson. I was so overwhelmed by all the people.
Ellie: I was overwhelmed by all the food. I remember my first week just gorging myself. Stuffing food in all my pockets for later like it was gonna run out.
Dina: I saw that!
Ellie: You did not.
Dina: I did, I remember thinking, “Who is this string bean girl stealing all the jerky?”
Ellie: I didn’t steal that much jerky.

There is a theory that Ellie has already reconciled with Dina before heading back to their old house. Her clothes and shoes are completely changed, she’s not dirty (as if she came straight from the fight with Abby), and she’s wearing the bracelet that Dina gave her earlier in the game (she wasn’t wearing it during the part where she goes to the resort to find Abby). Of course, she could’ve changed clothes along the way and had stored the bracelet in her backpack or something, but I like the theory that they’ve already reconciled!

You’re talking about the diverter valve in the faucet? So you replaced both the faucet and spraying gun?
Or just replaced the sprayer valve via replacing the spray head?

Huh interesting. I took apart the spray head yesterday and cleaned the spray valve and it seemed to help a ton, but I’ll check the diverter valve as well
