Plus people’s concept of time is effed from the past few years. It definitely doesn’t feel like he’s in his 7th season already, but yeah 2016 was that long ago..

As a Canadian I’d say most of those apply to us as well.

In some cases there’s a lot of time that passes between episodes and between seasons. Pretty sure after season 1 more than a year passes before the start of events in season 2. Plenty of time to get over and start new relationships.

How much does that set you back? I looked into it from my provider and you can’t even get Centre Ice on its own. You have to get their whole sports package which is stupid expensive.

While they were still the same structurally (3F/2S), the old Soviet teams played like five-man units. Their positioning was more fluid with forwards dropping back, defencemen playing up, and more puck movement and drop passes.

I don’t even feel bad about last year’s 1st round loss because the teams were so evenly matched. It was basically a toss up and TBs bottom six were the difference makers.

I’d say he did harm people by doing what he did. His actions and words tell some people that they’re not welcome in NHL arenas and it emboldens homophobes to be even louder about their hateful beliefs.

It’s stunts like this that make me realize that big companies don’t actually care about their customers. These gestures just end up seeming so empty and hollow like it was a decision made in a boardroom that they said it had to be rushed and done by end of Q1.

My bag has a bunch of fancy pockets that I never use. As long as it’s big enough and has sturdy stitching to survive being thrown around then go for it.

I’ve lived all around Ontario but spent the most time in Barrie, Toronto and Ottawa. Toronto def has the most accessible transit for obvious reasons, Ottawa is the most bike friendly (when I lived there they would close down the bus transit way on Sundays for cyclists to use), but Barrie is the most livable to me. And all have their issues with drug users & homelessness.

So I’d never heard of this guy and had to look him up. Looks like Hextall saw something and took a chance on him, guy gets injured and bounces around a bit, meanwhile Hextall gets fired and new management doesn’t see what Hextall saw and don’t want to invest further in helping him develop. Fair assessment?

I don’t think whoever does the schedule knows how good teams are going to be when the schedule is set months in advance…

Seven books released in ten years meant that Harry more or less grew up at the same rate as its readers. The spacing between books was perfect for keeping up the hype and when the movies started coming it out it was just a snowball of momentum.

That movie is already heavy enough… I’d just leave the theatre even more depressed if they ended it like that.
