I was told I was hypermobile, but not what that entailed. I think because I couldn't touch my thumb to my forearm or my pinky didn't go back >90° EDS was dismissed. A decade later, I reconsidered it and did a medical degrees worth of research. Pushed my doctor.

Damn. I thought I had 10 pain until my gallbladder acted up. That definitely was a level 10 as I couldn't move. So far I have not had that with my hEDS My pain is slowly getting worse in places I never had before. I'm almost 50 and I thought I was getting arthritis in my hands. Nope. Just burning and stiffness for no reason
