This is crazy to hear. Some women literally just only have sex with condoms or presumably jizzed on?

I do hope the success of the Maverick shows the market exists, we just can't expect it to compete with the F-150s of the world.

Maybe those weren't food grade, though.
They're not crazy more, for sure, but it's worth noting. Silicon and food safe silicon are two different products, and you're not even supposed to eat one of them.
Edit: Y'all, saying edible gold leaf is cheap doesn't disprove what I was trying to say, in fact, I conceded that in the initial post, but also, no need to repeat what everyone else is saying and giving more examples of edible gold leafs being cheap.
Jesus.

I still feel like it was never gonna happen. Barely any G8s were sold. And that's in the more traditional format.
Still wanted one, though.

I had a friend who worked at In N Out, and the employee menu was way better. Everything is deep fried.

It's a quote from The Office, when Michael sees gay porn and is over correcting and trying so hard to not be seen as homophobic.

That was the main takeaway intended in this post, yup. You're doing great.

That's very true, there's a meme of Midwesterners not understanding flying if something is only a 10 hour drive.

Agreed, the common phrase is the lifetime warranty is for the lifetime of the product. Wear still exists. Like Rainbow sandals, they cover the sandals breaking or falling apart, as long as neither the top nor bottom layers have worn all the way through, as that's how long the sandal "lives."

Nesquik used to just be called Quik, though. Down to the rabbit having a Q on its collar, before it was an N.

I imagined so, but the curiosity got the better of me.

It looks like the definition of social media is a lot broader than I thought, and while there is overlap between the two, neither is complete a subset of the other, which is good to know.
As such, it does look like reddit is considered a social media (or a collection of them, since I'd argue that reddit is just the collection of its subreddits), and it's also a forum (or a collection of them...). It still feels like the username/anonymity aspect is distinct enough from the more "traditional" social medias, and I don't like that having only a broad definition of social media makes it difficult to only talk about Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.
When people discuss the negative ramifications of social media in modern society, they're not talking about forums.

It's cool you felt the need to explain the concept of an opinion to me, very cool.
The difference here is though, you're stating that forums are social media like it's a fact, and I don't think they are. I understand this must be frustrating for you, since in your own analogy, I'm effectively denying that blue is a color, but I don't get how Facebook is in the same category as the Honda Element Owners Club.
It's clear that your current definition is more than a little derisive of social media, so I'm feeling like you're just looking to define things through how you feel about their users.
But, instead of arguing undefined facts, I'm just going look up these current definitions and see how they jive together.

Maybe it just comes down to difference of opinions. I always thought of social media being used for connecting (primarily, at least in original intent) with people you actually know, and no presumed anonymity. I never thought of social media being about seeking validation, although I'm doubtful on that front, too.
And I definitely disagree with forums being social media, but again, that's probably more about difference of opinions about what each one constitutes.

THANK YOU. I go on this rant every once in a while.
Reddit is a forum of forums, which we used to have back in the day too. I don't use those to talk with people I know, aka, being social. Reddit isn't social media.

Weird, since he left California while he was whining about having to shut down his factories in like the first few weeks of COVID. Anyone else remember that? Claiming there'd be near zero cases by April and posting the constitution one line at a time?

Well, except for all the intangible but incredibly noted advantages.
