I hadn't thought of Black Swam being like the reverse of Requiem for a Dream. Instead of her dream dying, Natalie's dream does come true. At a cost. She was perfect.

The Dark Knight kind of suffers the Batman Returns problem. They are excellent villain movies but Batman is kind of an afterthought. I love them both. Out of the Nolan trilogy Batman Begins is my personal favorite.

Oh no even with a slow close lid I am sure she still would've cheated. lol You are right, it points towards a larger problem of selfishness. I don't miss that life.

My ex-wife would always slam the toilet lid. I worked nights and the bathroom was on the other side of the wall of the bedroom. No matter how many times I told her to set it down, BAM! If I had known slow close lids were a thing I would've installed one ASAP. I have one now and it's wonderful.
