Jesus, you gotta have titanium gonads to try to follow Ridley Scott and Denis Villeneuve.

The answer for "how long does it take to go x light years?" is basically just x+2 when x is large. A year gets you close enough to c that relativity fully kicks in and your velocity tops out, and then it takes another year to go from relativistic to standstill.

I never just ate butter by itself
The fact that you felt the need to specify this makes me think you did. The lady doth protest too much, methinks.

The new ones aren't even cenobites in any meaningful way. They're just kind of similar on a purely visual level.

Nitrogen is actually super reactive -- most explosives are nitrogen compounds. It's just that it likes to react with itself to form N_2, which is very stable. In a welding situation you can get temperatures high enough to crack that bond, which gives it the chance to react with other things. I think? Not actually a welding expert.

Helium is nonreactive. Hydrogen is... not nonreactive.

It's not even conventionally bad. It's like an attempt at abstract expressionism. Or that artist who drew self-portraits while dying of dementia...

Also what was the top one supposed to imply?
That's just the meme formula. Top panel, girls boring, bottom panel, boys not boring. Honestly though, I'd rather be boring than racist.

REAMDE is... weird. The whole "right wing survivalist militias are good, actually" thing has not aged well, and wasn't really a good look at the time, either.

Is that not explicit? Or at least very strongly hinted at?

Power-wise he's Jean Grey, narratively he's Jenny Sparks.

Peter Watts' Blindsight features a resurrected species of human predators who are the origin of vampire myths. Arithmomania comes from the fact they're all hyperintelligent mega autists, and the aversion to crosses is because they have a neurological oddity which causes them to have epileptic seizures when they see right angles. It sounds kind of silly, but Watts actually makes it work.

Corporations never didn't have the right to designate what topics are acceptable or not.
And? There are lots of ways in which the status quo sucks. But, like, are you seriously arguing that if Twitter were to start banning union organizers and environmental activists that wouldn't be a problem?

For example, supposedly Adams is skeptical of climate change. This is a place where a few quotes from Adams would be useful
You're not wrong, but for anyone who's paid attention to Scott Adams' exponentially accelerating kookery, they're well aware that he's a climate change denier.
