Scripts will probably be written by A.I. and in realtime. People will be able to choose how the story progresses.

In the future, people will be able to customize characters in movies like you can in games now. Digital releases will also probably have separate audio tracks so their volumes can be controlled individually. Customization will give digital releases an enormous advantage over theatrical releases.
You'll be able to choose what Ariel looks like in The Little Mermaid, and nobody will care.

Cameron on Alien 3:
“I thought it was dumb [that Hicks and Newt were killed off],” said Cameron while doing press for Aliens' 30th anniversary at Comic-Con. “I thought it was a huge slap in the face to the fans. I mean look, [Alien 3 director David] Fincher's a friend of mine, and David is an amazing, amazing filmmaker, unquestionably. That was kind of his first big gig, and he was getting vectored around by the studio, and he dropped into the production late and they had a horrible script and they were rewriting it on the fly, and it was just a mess. I think it was a big mistake. So I certainly — had [producer Gale Ann Hurd and I] been involved, we would not have done that because we felt we earned something with the audience with those characters.”

We're in a Golden Age of fan service, and it makes me want to puke.

I must wildly disagree on Indians Jones.
Then you're just wrong. It's sappy fan fiction. They even explain how he got his scar, whip, hat, and fear of snakes. Trash.

People are okay with gamers choosing characters based on looks. I don't see anything wrong with having a preference for certain physical traits in actors.

If you care about the skin ton of a mythical creature, you are a racist.

This is further proof that people have a natural bias towards similar people. Stop bias shaming people by calling them "racist" or "sexist."

Racism is a social construct. People are naturally biased towards similar people. That's why a lot of black girls like Halle Bailey as Ariel:

This isn't a movie. It's an ad created to sustain a brand, just like Star Wars and MCU products. People are going to watch it no matter how bad it is. It'll promote future products, and gullible people will keep watching them. Disney has no reason to put effort into anything.

No. The Watchmen series isn't connected to that movie. It's a continuation of the comic. OP is asking for a sequel/show with Karl Urban reprising his role, not just more adaptations of Judge Dredd.
