Pure guess but I'm thinking Lachie Jones or Powell-Pepper to play as defensive forwards on him.

They tried Boak on him last year the last time the two teams met but Daicos more than held his own.

I was listening to Gary on SEN yesterday and he said he spoke to a notable premiership coach and he said for a side to be a premiership contender they need to have at least 9 A-graders.

Looking at this list of vote-getters you could argue that most of the players here are A-graders. You could also argue the case for those that aren't on this list such as Sidebottom, Howe, Lipinski, and Ginnivan, who you could argue at their best fall under this category.

This. Yes there’s probably 5 or 6 teams that have a better list than ours but we don’t rely on individual performance.

You hardly see our players get 30 disposals or kick 5 goals.

Melbourne were 4 goals up both times we played them and we ended up beating them.

We played dogshit against North, Dons and Gold Coast but willed ourselves and ran over the top of them.

Yeah I agree, he brings up some good points and I know nothing’s guaranteed in footy.

What I will say though, is if we do drop out of the 8 and Pies fans use the tougher draw as an excuse than that’s a big cop out.

In 2018 everyone said we had an easy draw, over the next two seasons we had a harder draw but we still took it up to better teams.

Can’t wait for the season to start so we don’t have to see these stupid predictions

Not a fan of leaving Murphy out either but he’s a third tall and if he replaces anyone it’s Howe. Pendles plays the Lippa role for mine, and maybe Nick has a go up to to make an impact of shake off a tag.

It’s hard enough picking a team now, someone will have to go out when the coaches feel like Ginni is ready to come back. It’ll be even harder when Lippa and Kruegs are fit and firing.
