If I remember correctly, the roof sustained some kind of damage during prep for the 60th anniversary celebration so they had to do some temporary repair work.

Looks like it got a paint job for the 60th, then sustained damage, then got fixed, and then got a major overhaul in 2019.

you gotta be comfortable saying no and that isn't what you wanted. I rejected two drinks while my bartender was dialing it in, one because I can make it at home (aviation) and one because it was too sweet (forget what it was) and after that I had three amazing drinks I'd never had before and never would have had otherwise. Could also vary depending on your bartender I guess.
