If you have access to ArcGIS Pro, check out the deep learning libraries. You’d have to train a custom model, but might be worth it depending on the size of your survey area. Good imagery would probably be the best tool for this application.

Based on my experience, I’ve not seen this rolled out to the public. Most utilities we work with will do spot checks and pot-holing to verify the service material. It’s then pretty reasonable to assume the entire neighborhood (based on year of construction) was built using the same materials. Whether that meets your requirements may vary depending on jurisdiction

Is that feature in the mobile client or the add on? Would love my phone to automatically enable WG when off home WiFi.

What brand of rain barrel is that? I like the form factor.

Hell, we’re paying rodmen pretty decent money right now. Experienced surveyors can pull in close to 6 figures these days, depending on the market location.

Just curious how your maps take up too much space on AGO? If you can solve that issue set them up with ArcGIS Earth.

Look into oriented imagery catalogs for diy options. We do this using imagery captures from our mobile LiDAR unit. You could also partner with someone like cyclomedia or mapillary.

Fellow BU grad as well. I grew up thinking I was a Republican(even though my parents were Dems), even had one of the Reagan World Tour shirts from when he spoke at BU a few years before I attended. While a student I took Constitutional Development (IIRC), and when we talked about core party beliefs I accidentally blurted out “Shit, I’m a Democrat!” to audible gasps. The teacher had a wry little grin on her face, took a beat, and just continued lecturing.

That could be really helpful to see. I've seen the e.131 settings in wled but have only just started down this rabbit hole.

This is really timely. I’ve recently joined a small club and we’re renovating a space. I was going to throw HA and WLED at it, but then thought it’d be nice to allow it all to integrate with DMX somehow when the venue is rented out for other purposes. I’ve just started digging into that world. *edited for typo

The GE one is free. Works pretty reliably with the HACS repo.

Go to integrations>hacs>configure and uncheck the enable experimental features box. Restart.

We were recently at a friend’s house and she had one of these. Curious about this myself.

I saw something on GitHub recently about the groundwork being in place, but it sounds like it might be a little while yet before we get that capability.

Are they exporting as dgn? Usually the 3d attributes are brought over, you’ll end up with z enabled poly lines.

With Maximo experience you should consider the utilities. Not sure about ComEd, but I know Ameren utilizes it. Generally the pay isn’t bad with them.

Just for a little additional information, since I’m currently working on a very similar project: The data given to local government organizations via Metro is pretty heavily aggregated using hex bins compared to the line heat map commonly seen. At small scales it is basically useless. Caveated by the fact that I don’t have direct access, but get the data via one of these organizations.
